Great location overlooking the harbour and estuary. It's a five minute walk into town and the nearest shops restaurants and pubs. We had a sea view family room which was huge. The beds are really comfortable and a very modern bathroom. The shower was really powerful. You can also arrive early and park your car so you can make the most of your day before checking in. The bar area is very nice with a good choice. Breakfast was included in the price and again the quality was great with excellent service. Overall I cannot fault anything we had a great time and will definitely return.

Great location with clean and comfortable rooms, amazing breakfast, well stocked bar with honesty box if unattended,all delivered by a friendly team who could not be more professional. They are a credit to the hotel and really helped to make our stay so enjoyable.

Fabulous hotel in a beautiful location with great views. Less than 10 mins walk from Barmouth town centre. Friendly staff who go above and beyond to make your experience special. Breakfast is amazing with great choice. Rooms are large and well equipped. Gary is a great manager and enjoy evening in the bar chatting to Gary and Stacey.

Had a lovely time here. Gary and the team were so helpful. Loved the hotel- it’s modern and the room was lovely and clean. Breakfast was Great. So many options and staff couldn’t have done more. Would 100% recommend and definitely planning our next vist

Set in a quiet location with stunning views overlooking Barmouth bay. A large free car park, and very comfortable rooms. The mgr Gary is exemplary! He immediately made us feel at home, had great local knowledge (restaurants, walks etc) and is one of the best we have ever met. A stunning breakfast selection, with excellent service from Claire. Wide range of hot food options plus a super cold buffet range. You will not leave feeling hungry :-) This is our 3rd visit and we met the busy and knowledgable gardeners who keep the grounds cared for, and in keeping with the location. All staff that we met were helpful and friendly. The town and beach are just a 5 minute walk away, with a wide range of eateries and shops. A small hill coming back - but an evening drink in the bar while savouring the sea views was perfect.

An excellent independent hotel, with unrivalled views down to the Afon Mawddach and Barmouth Bay. We stayed in the suite - the most expensive of the rooms but by no means expensive - though it was a winter midweek night. Everything was clean, the bed very spacious and the window overlooking the bay was a fantastic spot to sit. Lots of options for breakfast, with hot food to order. No evening meals at the hotel, but advice and recommendations for places in town - just a five-minute walk away.

Fabulous views across the bay. Friendly manager who let us in our rooms really early.. the staff were exemplary the chambermaids were helpful and the kitchen staff fabulous. Our dog got a sausage every morning and bfast staff were so professional restocking the juices and continental breakfast where fresh fruit was im abundance. Would probably choose a bigger seaview room next time. All in all a chilled stay. The bar was empty every evening and an honesty box to pay for drinks, would have been useful to have a price list and a staff member behind bar…so we could socialise . So much potential for afternoon teas but sadly only bfasts at the moment. The weather was rubbish sadly and not alot to do in Barmouth so 4 nights was probably 2 nights too many. Im sure if the sun was out and no wind would be perfect👌

Absolutely beautiful hotel, the bed super comfy, all new furniture. The hotel very quiet that mean you can had a good night sleep with out seagull wake you up in the morning. Breakfast was delicious and fresh even my dog had complimentary sausage too. Definitely return . Owner ans staffs were very friendly and helpful 🙂

The view from the hotel was amazing up on the hill looking over the river estuary and made a super tasty breakfast even better looking out over it. Lovely Welsh rarebit with nice thick bacon. Room was nice, bed comfy, and host was very kind & welcoming. Free parking and was ok to leave our car in it as we explored the town that afternoon after checking out. Only a 20-30 minute up the rest of the hill to the Panorama walk viewpoint. Really enjoyed my stay here. Only nit-pick I can make was the tiles in our bathroom floor need redoing as quite a few of them were loose.
