Overall, the hotel had some positives, but there were definitely areas that need improvement. The room was comfortable and clean, although a bit outdated compared to what I expected. The amenities were nice, and the staff throughout the hotel was friendly and welcoming. Unfortunately, the pool area service was extremely disappointing. The system of assigning one specific server to each guest/table created long delays and made the experience frustrating. We waited over 30 minutes just to place an order for room service/poolside food, and everything was very overpriced for the level of service provided. The concept they use for ordering simply doesn’t work efficiently during busy hours. The hotel has potential because the atmosphere and staff are pleasant, but the service experience around the pool definitely took away from the stay.

We loved this historic place. The only thing we did not like was the way the waiters rushed us to pay the bill even when we didn't finish eating. We tried the restaurant 3 times at different times and they rushed us to pay, even they brought the wrong plate and when I said I didn't order that, they guy made a face and walked away! after all the argue we had he brought the receipt the plate still there! even when I said remove it and bring another receipt, he said he can't! instead, he brought me cash to pay that plate and I said no! I need the receipt for what we ate. We had to call the manager and he done a new receipt in 2 mins. All that show to keep the % for tips. So, the only thing we didn't like at all were the waiters at the restaurant by the pool

I have stayed in the past 4 years 6 times and just love this hotel. It’s wonderful to be welcomed like family since our first stay. Top notch staff, ready to make your stay memorable. Breakfast is pleasing for every appetite, whether you want the Colombian treats, eggs your way, fruits or a combination of everything. And that outdoor pool is just gorgeous surrounded by palm trees , my little paradise ❤️🌴 Their taxi service is perfect to get to any destination or to see the main sites in Barranquilla.

Staff was very friendly, the food was delicious and location of the property was central to everything. Getting around in taxi was very easy and located just outside of the hotel.

Buffet breakfast was great. Lots of options. Room was clean and comfortable. Love the pool and pool area.

This is an amazing property. Stay in El prado is an experience in all senses. All staff is amazing very atentive to all guest needs. Food is excelent and the iconic property is stuning. Absolutely recommended.

Breakfast was varied, tasty and offered a good selection The a/c never worked properly. Had to call a technitian every night Staff was attentive Outdoor pool was very clean and pleasant

It was a very pleasant stay. Staff was very courteous and polite. I would highly recommend this place.

Air conditioning and TV are so difficult to figure out that it takes a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering to make it work.
