Goood hotel. With good location.. we will choose this hotel again

Welcoming and professional staff, a perfect location and a beautiful, modern junior suite. Mine was across the street above their partner bar and eatery Consume. A lovely space with modern furniture, stylish and well equipped. Spot on. In future I won’t be staying anywhere else in Basel. Top marks!

Not recommended hotel for seniors unless the room has been renovated. We stayed with friends who had a better room. There was an old rug on floor I tripped on. There were steps in the room that were dangerous. There was a step up to the bathroom. The shower had the most slippery surface I have ever experienced. There was a house plant that was growing along the floor at the far end of the room. Very strange. Also, it was difficult to find when driving in Basel.

The location -great. They gave us bicycles for free. Nice services. Nice employees. Good price/quality ratio. Good coffee. The bed very conforable, the pillows nice. The only discomfort was the outside noise from an under construction building

A beautiful Hotel from which to view and explore a beautiful City. Flawless service, extremely convenient for the flawless (and free with a Hotel booking) public transport system. I have been to a place or two in my time but this was way up there with the best

We had the premium room on the roof with a huge bathroom and bathtub. Room was always the right temperature with a big covered balcony. No minibar/fridge but had a coffee machine and hot water maker in the room Parking was a bit difficult but the staff went above and beyond to figure it out for us. Very close to all of downtown Basel. Small, very basic breakfast for 20cfh per person is not worth it but all in all very nice quiet hotel on the water. Once again, amazing staff.

I was not able to sleep because of continuous noise. The hotel is on a street full of bars and loud drunk people late at night. There is continuous major construction in the building across the street, which will wake you up as early as 6:30 in the morning. I was also put in a room across the street from the main hotel building that does not have any hotel amenities. The building is old with old windows that have no noise buffer. My advice is to call and check on the status of construction and ask exactly which room / hotel building you will be staying in, or find another hotel.

I had a fantastic weekend at the Krafft a warm welcome from friendly staff delightful decor and a great room. The location is perfect for exploring Basel and enjoying the Christmas markets . Delicious breakfast overlooking the river. It was a wonderful weekend start to finish I'll definitely be back. The travel ticket you get means getting around is easy on the trams Basel is also a very walkable city and the hotel is perfectly located next to the river crossing the bridges on foot or by tram and bus or even the lovely boats that zigzag the river

The staff was very nice and helpful. The woman from the reception even took my wet bike and brought it to a looked room. This I appreciated very much.
