オールド ミル イン(The Olde Mill Inn Basking Ridge)

The Olde Mill Inn is quiet, comfortable, and a lovely place to stay. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming. The front desk staff is always nice. I've stayed here several times and would highly recommend it.

Loved the historical theme and cozy ambience. Arrived in a snow storm to a crackling fire in the lobby. Quiet and convenient.

All staff was friendly, a fellow from the front desk even helped me with my laptop getting it connected to the Wifi.

Very good stay in general.the pillows and mattress left a bit to be desired but the room was very good with two sinks and very clean. The connecting restaurant was excellent

Property is very old in need of an upgrade. Rooms and hallway have a musty smell.

We got to the hotel at 830pm was told the tavern was serving until 9 got there at 845 ask to be seated workers arguing because they wanted to out at 900 did this right in front of us, walked out

Lovely hotel with bags of character. Spacious and comfortable rooms. Nice touch to have the complementary water in paper bottles rather than plastic!

This was the noisiest most unrestful experience I’ve had in a hotel. They mixed us amongst wedding guests so our room was sandwiched between drunks yelling in the courtyard and drinks in the hallway. They had to yell at first to hear each other over the dj until 11:30, but after the dj stopped the yelling continued followed by staff vacuuming after the party. The only thing worse is the lack of ability to resolve this issue on the hotel managers side. The hotel tried to say they wanted to honor my booking, but we would have stayed elsewhere if we knew this event would be so loud. They were perfectly aware, but decided to book the room to us and turn around and claim giving us another room at a discounted rate since I got zero sleep the night before was “losing them money”…..$64 to be exact. Nickel and dimming after costing me a night of sleep so they could earn from the wedding. The hotel is nice but they should have figured out a way to cater to both wedding guests and regular guests and stop blaming guests for not knowing your walls are thin, the dj is louder the closer it gets to midnight, the don’t close off the courtyard to drunk wedding guests when the wedding is over so the guests are yelling on both sides of guests doors at midnight and beyond. This is not what guests have in mind even booking a hotel. Please stop pretending this is news

Very good experience. Check in was easy and problem free and the room was clean and comfortable. The air conditioner in the room was not great at staying cold on a hot evening, but I think it may have just needed a new filter. I would stay there again.
