ザ ブラック フォックス(The Black Fox)

A great find, right in the city centre. We had the spacious room with the bath. All perfect; comfy, clean, warm. Everything we needed. Used the toiletry products - just would have appreciated a conditioner to go with the shampoo, a minor thing. Breakfast was great too, perfect poached eggs. Being city centre, there is no on-site parking - but very near to car parks and train/bus stations. A great service to store our luggage before and after our stay. Thank you!

Nice staff, nice pub. Accommodation far too expensive for what it is. Looks good on website, but not all that. No disabled access, and we had 2 flights of stairs, and no help was offered to help us upstairs. Lovely old building, so very rickety and on a bit of a slope. Room very basic, but ok. Shower very small access, but actual shower was ok. Very old sash windows, and they rattled all night, so we didnt sleep well at all. Breakfast choice ok, but sticky a parsley leave on top of a gray narly poached egg doesnt make it delicious. Good service by pleasant lady. As I've said, the staff were nice, polite and helpful, but it just wasnt for us.

A very nice clean property in an easy distance from the train station and park and ride drop off. Very close to the Christmas market and Bath shops and sights. The staff were all very pleasant and helpful. A good breakfast included in the price. Only slight negatives, we found the bathroom cold (it had no heating and the weather was particularly cold), and my daughter was woken up by traffic going past on the nearby road, said she would need to remember her ear plugs another time.

Really friendly, very clean, excellent breakfast. Easy walking distance to all of Bath's attractions. Obviously we appreciated that this is an old building and had no lift. Only minor comment is that the old sash window in the bathroom would not close, so some rain did blow in. Would we stay again? Derfinitely!

First trip to Bath, had a lovely clean room, with all the mod cons. Dave and the team at the black Fox were quality, really felt a home from home. Breakfast was a nice touch.

Fantastic hotel in the centre of Bath & close to everything you need. We had a room on the top floor which was large and had a beautiful bathroom with free standing bath. The staff were warm and welcoming and the food and drinks were excellent. Would highly recommend.

Stairs were steep and made it difficult with luggage. But it was nice & clean. Close to train station.

Great service and information from the staff. Large room with big bathroom and bath. Central location.

All aspects of the hotel were excellent breakfast especially terrific .Our only gripe would be we booked a king size room and we believe we were given a double?.Otherwise a great experience
