We stayed at this 5-star 'hotel' for 1 night, thank God we didn't stay longer. This place should not have the rank of a hotel! Everything about this place disgusted and disappointed us. We had a horrible basement dirty room for £145 a night. We couldn't change the room. The staff at the check-in was nice and super friendly; however, useless. They didn't help us change our room on arrival when we realized we were placed in the basement. Btw, the reception stopped working after evening time at this '5 star hotel' lol. The room was so dirty, the bedsheets were broken and had hair, the worst thing I have ever experienced in hotels was the SEMEN stains on the bed (see in pics), and the dirty toilet seat... In general, nothing looked clean in the room, literally everything was dusty, had some hair and stains. Just total disgust. I tried to claim a refund from ***********, but they just said that the hotel refuses to refund and they are not even interested in investigation. I am completely shocked that *********** promotes such 'hotels' and doesn't feel responsible for our experience at all. They just ghosted us for now and stopped answering my messages. !!! So, I want to warn everyone here that you should not stay at this place and you should never rely on ***********. You can find a better platform to find hotels, which will help you if you ever experience something like this on your stays. Now we feel like we were completely ripped off, had a terrible stay at someone's old grandma's house that has never been cleaned for 50 years... Traveling with my Mom on her second trip to the UK, the Windsor Townhouse made a lasting impression. We were warmly greeted by the staff, given excellent advice for Bath tours and dining and were made to feel at home in their very well appointed facility. Our room looked out over a rugby pitch and was in earshot of the church bells which added to the experience. It is located a 5 minute walk from the Roman Baths and Bath Abbey. The included breakfast was a treat. The staff ensured every detail was attended our room was spotlessly clean, comfortable and nicely furnished. Staying at the Windsor Townhouse made us feel as if we were staying in a friend’s home and on a vacation that is comforting. We will definitely return and look forward to forward to our next visit.

Friendly staff, parking 10 minutes walk away, continental breakfast or option of upgrade for extra cost. Comfortable bed, but room smaller than expected with a half size bath. Quiet location. No staff on duty to assist with an issue we had in the evening.

We have just stayed as a couple at the Windsor townhouse in bath. We stayed in the superior double room on the second floor. We were greeted by a polite man at the front desk where we booked our breakfast and was shown how to use the doors to the building. Our room was lovely, a really decent size. Very clean with complementary White Company toiletries. The bed was comfortable also. Breakfast was preordered and a time pre-booked on check in, we were offered tea coffee and juices were available. Fruit, toast and pastries were brought to the table followed by our pre ordered full English. All food was fresh and tasty. Would definitely stay here again next time I visit bath!!

Not 5 star room nothing like pictures very small decor very tired needs refurbishing floor in bedroom very uneven and sloping in bathroom bath not worth having as tiny chipped and rusting mould on tiles and ceiling in bathroom! Bedroom very dusty with dirty carpets tiny tv and no usb charging curtains didn’t close properly and no main switches by bed to turn lights off had to get out of bed!!!

On arrival I received the most warm and friendly welcome. As a group booking I was offered the choice of remaining rooms which was appreciated. Full of character and only a short walk to the centre and also not very far from the Podium multi storey car park which was £15 for 24 hours. Breakfast was lovely.

Website quotes: ‘Superb five star accommodation in the centre of Bath’ - Certainly location cannot be disputed; central to the fabulous amenities Bath has to offer but ‘Superb’ is somewhat overstated. Be sure to read other reviews… wish we had. Shan’t be returning, many more worthy ‘Superb’ establishments legitimately charging five star prices.

We had a lovely time during our stay at Windsor Townhouse. The location was excellent, only a short walk across the river to the train station, shopping district, and sights. The staff were excellent and were especially accommodating to my gluten intolerance, meaning I was able to breakfast without concern. Our room was quite small, however perfect for us and the duration of our visit - if looking to stay longer than a couple of nights we would have perhaps requested a bigger room. Room was fitted with a TV, mirror and dressing table, and en-suite shower. Amenities such as toiletries, kettle with coffee and tea, and a safe were all complimentary. All in all, couldn’t fault our stay at all. We will be absolutely visit again when the weather is warmer.

I am so pleased I chose to stay at The Windsor Townhouse. The location could not have been better. We were welcomed warmly, the room was big and comfortable, as was the bed. Breakfast was delicious. I could not recommend this guest house more highly. Lack of car parking was not an issue. Being able to unload bags at the door then park at the multistorey only a few minutes walk away was no bother.
