Jeuri and the entire Bavaro HM hotel team made my birthday trip so special and memorable! Excellent on-site restaurants, perfect beach access, super sweet staff, great security and they even sent me a surprise cake! ABSOLUTELY AMAZING and I will always stay at Bavaro HM when visiting Punta Cana. Many many thanks to the management team!

I had a few days to kill before a conference in the United States and thought I would pop down to Punta Cana to see what the place is like. I arrived here, super jetlagged after my fly from Australia, via the US. The staff at the front desk were extremely helpful and very friendly. I was too tired to go out for dinner so I ate at the hotel restaurant in the sky bar which is absolutely a spectacular place to eat. The views are amazing and the staff are super helpful and friendly plus the meal was delicious. It is Japanese inspired so just be mindful of that but I do like Japanese so it was great for me. I had a couple of problems with my room which meant I couldn’t sleep easily. After two nights of the same problem, (having tried to fix it after the first) they very kindly move me to a luxe Seaview room. They went over and above to help me. I get things break in hotels so I wasn’t that upset, especially since they firstly tried to fix it and then when they couldn’t, they promptly moved me. I could not ask for a better outcome. NB: I would suggest you pay for Seaview room because it really is just that much better. My other room was still well appointed and the hotel is very clean and well maintained. The location of this hotel is great. There are plenty of places to eat within just a few minutes walk - including coffeeshops and restaurants, so you have plenty of choice. The breakfast at the hotel was great as were the dinners that I had there. The beach is beautiful and I was surprised at how much I enjoyed it as the hotel has beach lounges reserved for guests and there is security in the hotel, meaning that non-guests don’t get in the way including locals, trying to sell stuff. I like there being no kids too. I did a tour to Santo Domingo one-day which meant during pick up the bus visited quite a lot of the other real luxury resorts and the one thing I would say this Hotel has over those ultra luxury all inclusive resorts is that you can walk to places easily and you’re not stuck in your hotel. I guess it depends on what you want, but I prefer to get out and explore a bit and this hotel certainly gives you that option. I would absolutely recommend staying here would come back again if I was ever in this part of the world

Amazing hotel and veeery friendly staff , i cannot say it enough!! Great location, right on the beach , with 2 pools , one of them situated on the roof and you get breathtaking views from there especially on a evening. 2 restaurants so food choice is not a problem. The staff did everything for us to have an incredible stay. Shoutout to Jeuri and Johana who were very helpful in everything we needed , but as i said all the staff deserve appreciation. Will definitely come again. Thank you HM Bavaro!

Marcia and I had a fantastic time in early April 2024 at HM Bavaro Beach hotel. A few shout outs to the staff. The front desk staff Johanny and Johanna (day shift), Jeuri and Jose (night shift) were always friendly and willing to help. Ruber at the breakfast buffet and the Italian restaurant was also super friendly. In fact all the staff from check in to maintenance to cleaning were first rate. This is a small hotel on a great piece of the beach and the ocean view rooms really are on the beach. View from the balcony was spectacular. The rooftop infinity pool was sweet. There was never a problem getting beach chairs and we never felt crowded at this hotel. The cleaning staff are to be commended since the entire hotel is kept spotless through constant cleaning. A walk of less the five minutes takes you to multiple restaurants, shops and live music. To sum it up. Fantastic hotel, amazing beach, friendly staff and access to shops and restaurants made our stay memorable. In addition, the price of the trip was very reasonable. We would recommend HM Bavaro Beach to anyone going to Punta Cana.

Interesting experience. On the monday I was checked in by Joanie. She gave me no orientation on the hotel, no help with luggage (two large suitcases to the 2nd floor), no information and not taken to the room and given no information on hte facilities of the room. Then I stayed for four more days and noticed how good the service from the rest of the staff was and overall how good the hotel was. On the Thursday, I noticed a couple checking in and they were given a professional freindly, helpful experiemce. Info about the facilities, the room, their luggage was taken and they were shown to their room. I then asked the two guys why my experience was so poor. And they immediately acknowlegedged that it had been something that they had actually noted and recognised immediately. By was of apology they offered me a free late check out that would have normally cost me $50. Brilliant. It looks like Joanie had taken a dislike to me (despite having never met before), and had decided that I didnt deserve a courteous, professional welcome to the hotel. I then spoke to her manager, Joanne (who may also be her friend). Joanne's response was very interesting. Apprently, Joanie was too busy on the Monday to offer me the right service. So then I ask Joanne - "are you telling me that the hotel policy is that if it gets too busy, then you don't explain to customers anything about the hotel, or about the room, you don't take their luggege to the room and you don;t show them the room. You just leave them to help themselves and work it out on their own?" She looked my in the eye and said "Yes - that is correct". Later on Joanne seemed more apologetic, and may have recgnised that I deserved a better service. This is a very good hotel, with some very good people trying very hard to build the hotels's reputation. And sadly, also some staff who are actively sabotaging the business, at the expense of the customers and their colleagues.

The resort is lovely and close to the airport. Quick check in….. nice and easy. The food was good……. buffet…. staff helpful and friendly. The beach was out of this world….. bars for drinks…..not overcrowded and you could walk for miles in either direction. Bavaro is a beautiful area and we liked the more natural feel. Would love to come spend Christmas here…….
