Great first trip to this resort. Check in took awhile as the room was not ready when we arrived, but they sent us to go get drinks/ food at the beach. Love the long pools as it spread out guests. Always had a pick of sun loungers! Food at the buffets were good and lots of options especially for vegetarians ( which is usually hard to find at these resorts)

I booked my stay at Majestic Elegance Punta Cana through Trip.com. Unfortunately, my experience was severely affected by a serious health issue during the trip, and the overall handling of the situation was disappointing. During my stay (November 26 – December 2, 2025), I became seriously ill with severe stomach pain, nausea, and diarrhea, requiring medical attention. I did not leave the resort at any time and consumed only food and beverages provided by the hotel. While Trip.com successfully handled the booking itself, situations like this highlight the importance of stronger guest support and clearer guidance when travelers face serious issues during their stay. After the incident, responsibility was shifted back and forth, and no meaningful resolution was provided regarding the impact on my trip. I believe Trip.com could improve by offering more proactive assistance or advocacy for customers when major problems occur at partner hotels. I am sharing this review to help future travelers make informed decisions and to encourage better support when things go wrong.

Not really great experience. Buffet closed for lunch and dinner. Only one restaurant with limited food choice open for lunch.

The majestic elegance is beautiful!!! Very clean, rooms are very nice. The average rating was because we paid extra for “Elegance club” adult only. This was our 29th anniversary and we wanted it to be kid free. We searched for a hotel that had adult only amenities. When we showed up at the hotel they told us those rooms were sold out in the adult only section. That was disappointing since we paid for that section. We were still able to use the amenities but they were two buildings away. We booked months in advance so that was disappointing. They did give us a voucher for $200.00. To be used towards a $360.00 massage. But we would have loved the room in adult only section instead. The drinks were great! The food average. Entertainment average. The staff-some were great but I would say around 90% don’t even acknowledge you with even a hello. Overall though the place is beautiful! The pools are well maintained and had a great vacation overall.

100% recomendable El personal muy atento y amable, siempre con una sonrisa. Y nos hicieron late check out de cortesía porque nuestro vuelo salía muy tarde. Muchas gracias a todo el personal.

Excelente! Una ubicación maravillosa en primera línea de playa con atención muy correcta por parte de todo el personal. Las instalaciones están estupendas y la habitación era muy bonita y amplia. Además al no seré un complejo tan grande te permite ir a pie a todas las instalaciones y los diversos restaurantes. Las comidas estaban muy buenas con mucha variedad y diferentes opciones temáticas. Sin duda para repetir la experiencia. Lo único malo es la calidad de los cócteles que eran bastante malos ya que casi todos los preparaban con unas mezclas artificiales y no estaban ricos.

Melhor resort que já fiquei hospedada!!! Reservei Majestic Elegance mas na recepção ganhei um Up grade sendo hospedada no Majestic Mirage, simplesmente SENSACIONAL. Comida maravilhosa em todos os restaurantes, mas em especial Steak House e agradeço o atendimento do garçom Jhonatan. Não recordo o nome da pessoa da recepção que nos trocou de hotel mas mesmo assim Fica o nosso agradecimento. Vale comentar também sobre as bebidas nos bares de ótima qualidade e as piscinas muito limpas.
