Everything was super! The location by the lake is very beautiful. We had bad weather but it didn’t matter because the house was so nice and cozy. Breakfast was 10/10! :) Everyone was really nice. We got lots of good tips, e.g. where to eat, go out and shop. We had great time, thank you so much!

Very nice but wish they had a place for toiletries and baggage. They were very responsive to concerns. Very nice location.

We had a wonderful stay at Bear Lake Lodge B&B and it was the perfect home base for exploring the Seward area. We stayed in the suite, which was super clean, cozy, and felt very homey. The lake was still mostly frozen during our visit, so we weren’t able to kayak, but that would have been such a great addition in warmer weather. There’s also an easy wooded trail just down the road that was nice to explore. The hosts were absolutely amazing and made everyone feel welcome. Breakfast each morning was delicious, and when we had an early departure one day, they kindly prepared a to-go breakfast for us, which was so appreciated. One of our favorite parts of staying here was sitting around the breakfast table chatting with other guests about the adventures we’d been on or were planning for the day — it created such a warm and friendly atmosphere. One of the owners even went out of his way trying to help recover our canceled helicopter tour, though the weather ultimately didn’t cooperate. The effort and care they showed really meant a lot. Overall, just a genuinely pleasant place to stay with wonderful people. We would absolutely recommend it!

Everything was as listed. Beautiful lakeside views, friendly staff, clean and a great breakfast. We enjoyed our 2 nights here and would stay again if in the area. Staff was very helpful with recommendations for area excursions.

This was our first ever stay at a B &B. It will definitely be a tough experience to beat! The communications were very informative and complete. We received a message that included an image of which for to enter and the code to get in. Each room was assigned a parking spot clearly posted with its own sign. The decorating was really awesome blend of colors and textures. The breakfast we were served was fresh and delicious. The other guests were enjoyable to visit with. We can not say enough good about Nicole and Shannon. Both were extremely warm, welcoming, personably friendly and knowledgeable about Seward and AK in general. Overall a grand experience!

We stayed at BLL as part of a work retreat and had a fabulous time. Great facilities with comfortable spaces to collaborate, work in break-out spaces, and private rooms to take a break. The atmosphere was welcoming and warm, and we had everything that we needed. There was lots of space surrounding the property and we couldn't hear any neighbors. The location is stunning - right on the lake and in between the mountains. It's the perfect place for year-round fun - boating, swimming, and fishing in the summer, skiing or skating in the winter. The ice wasn't ready for skating, so one of our team members put a line in the water. Bre provided a great breakfast and was very accommodating to our group. The lodge was very clean and didn't feel stuffy the way some lodges do. We'd definetly come back. The rates were really reasonable for the size of our group. Much less than if we had to book rooms at the hotels in town, and it felt like "our house".

We went to Seward to go whale watching. It was 6 of us and we rented 2 rooms in BLB. We went off season so it was quiet and just our family! The place is special and has such a good energy to it. Additional Bre was a star…cooked us 2 unbelievable breakfasts! GO!

Great breakfast, excellent location for viewing night sky - northern lights (even though south near Seward, we still) saw the Aurora), kayaks at adjacent lake.

Our stay was amazing! Our room was cozy and comfortable and it was decorated nicely, too. We had a wonderful lake view from our room and a spacious balcony. It was especially fun visiting with the other guests at our delicious breakfast. Great hosts topped it off, they even checked on us at our fishing spot! Highly recommend.
