There were spiders, huge ones the shower was horrible. It took forever for the water to get hot. They were holes in the bedding and the room was freezing, and the heater was super loud so we could not keep it on

This average property is located in a suburb of Los Angeles. I stayed for one night only. It is rather old and maintenance is lacking. You may be able to find better places to stay. This would fit your need only if you are tight on budget. Nothing is great about this place to write about.

The entire room smelled of intensely strong cleaning chemicals. Did something tragic happen there the night before you needed to dump an entire bottle of toilet cleaner across the entire hotel room floor. We got a headache from the strong chemical even after opening windows for hours to air it out. Sheets were discovered completely unchanged from previous guests. I alerted the person at the front desk. She acted like this happens all the time. She went over to change the sheets in the room. After she left I look at the sheets and they are full of dirty old long and short hairs again? The people working there have severe hygiene and common sense issues. On the last day hours before check out, some woman to supervises the clearning staff starts calling the room over and over. She wants to know 2 hours before check out "when will you be leaving?" What? As I load up my car in the parking lot in front of the room she comes over and starts badgering me about "Are you leaving now? Are you checking out?" Still? What? Big issues to resolve there. What a nightmare.

This hotel is close to the highway. Their blankets are not clean and the parking lot is not safe. Saw a homeless walking around. Bad experience.

Very clean and quiet… Stayed there when our air conditioner was out for 3 day at 104 degrees

The sink leaked onto the floor, bathroom was not clean, the bedspread was stained, and the property was next to the train tracks.

Room was frigid when I walked in and had an unpleasant odor. Turned the heater on high and it took 6 hours to get the room to normal temperature. Took a shower only to find full on hot never got as warm as luke warm. TV didn't work. Woke to find a cockroach on my bed. Poorly(not?) maintained. Total ripoff at $90. Sign says refunds are not made after 10 minutes. I see why. Everyone, including me, would want their money back.

They refused to refund when roads closed up at big bear luckily they opened for a little so made it but no rooms were ready and mine wasn’t available till6 pm ?

We arrived at around 6:45pm. Our room was supposed to be available at 3pm. It was a very cold night and the room was not ready. At first i was told that we could stay at a sister hotel, after 20 minutes, i was told that, that hotel would be more expensive. So i was left in the beginning of a 3 day weekend without a hotel despite having had a reservation. I called the Choice hotel people and was put on hold for over an hour, i never heard from them. I got a much more expensive hotel. I called ******* and they offered a $25.00 coupon fir future use, which is also failed customer service.
