We flew to Beauvais with Ryanair and, based on reviews, decided to stay at the Hotel de la Cathedrale. We found it to be very good. We had a comfortable, quiet, well-maintained room at the back of the building. We chose not to have breakfast. It's a small, friendly, family-run hotel, in the centre of Beauvais and has much to recommend it. Beauvais itself is an attractive town with a famous cathedral. It's only an hour by train from Paris, and by bus from Amiens which is also worth visiting. Recommended.

Lovely modern hotel located in a street approx 100m from the square. Great host who greeted us on arrival and our room was a good size overlooking the street. The bedding and bed were very comfortable and there were electric shutters to ensure privacy. The en-suite bathroom was a really good size. There was a Nespresso machine in the room with a complimentary coffee for each of us and one bottle of water. The toiletries were of a good standard. Breakfast was of good quality and continental. The location is great as you can easily find bars and restaurants close by and we parked our car right outside the hotel on the street. Would definitely recommend staying here.

This hotel, located near the outstanding Beauvais cathedral, is a very sympathetic one. It is very well maintained and our twin room was quite spacious. Breakfast was delicious - not a lot of choice but everything was of a high quality. The location of the hotel is excellent: in the very center of cute Beauvais but on a quiet side street. The only minus is the lack of aircon.

This hotel is located down a sidestreet about 100m from the main square in Beauvais and (as the name suggests!) with a stonesthrow of the magnificent cathedral. We only stopped for one night (following a re-timetabling by dear old Ryanair) but thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the city. The hotel is a mid-range establishment but the rooms are clean and of an acceptable size. The bed and bedding is comfortable and the room had an opening window and shutters as well as curtains. The bathroom is well equipped (toiletries and hairdryer) although the shower head had several jets blocked - a small thing, and easily rectified. The only criticism of the room is that there are several fire doors on each floor which tend to shut with a loud bang, which could disturb an early sleeper. We opted for the breakfast which was buffet-style, but generous and of good quality, worth the E12.50. The host was exceptionally kind and helpful and made a positive impact on our stay in this lovely city. We were grateful that Ryanair had hanged out flight day! Hot tip: if you are coming into the city from the airport, use the No 6 bus. It costs E1 per person, takes under 20 minutes, and drops you within a five minute walk of the hotel. The same going back, from the same bus stop.

Dans le centre ville : acceuil sympathique Chambre correcte literie moyenne petite salle de bains avec des WC séparés. Wifi bien Petit déjeuner salle agréable avec des bons produits (croissant frais du boulanger) confiture marque réputée

Accueil hyper chaleureux, le patron est génial, propreté au top, situation idéale, à 2 pas de la place Jeanne Hachette et de la magnifique cathédrale. Je recommande à 200% et nous y retournerons avec plaisir!!!
