My husband booked our stay as a surprise for my 50th birthday, champagne and chocolates waiting in the room. As we live locally, and my health isn’t good, we decided to just watch television in bed whilst sipping champagne. However, none of the streaming services would work. My husband went down to reception and Dillon (I hope I’ve spelt this correctly) came up within a few minutes to have a look and it was sorted within moments. We were staying in the judges room which is quite small, but the bed was incredibly comfortable and my husband booked it as he liked the look of the bed the most. We went down to dinner which was a 9 course meal, although we didn’t go for the final course of coffee and petit fours. The food was amazing, thoroughly enjoyed it and the staff were incredibly attentive, it was such a pleasant experience. After our meal, we took our wine into the drawing room and sat talking until Dillon asked us if we’d like the honestly bar leaving available, then we decided to go to bed. The bed was lovely and comfortable, and apart from being a bit full from the food, and a bit warm (we were too lazy to get up and open a window) we had a really good nights sleep. Breakfast was lovely, again, staff attentive, we have a couple of minor issues which I don’t feel needs mentioning as the staff corrected them immediately, and that, to me, is what separates a good establishment from a great establishment, and that’s what Plas Dinas is. The owner came and spoke to us on numerous occasions asking how we were and telling us about the work and renovations that have and are being done, making the overall experience wonderful. Booked dinner bed and breakfast for my wifes birthday and it lived up to and beyond both our expectations.The hotel is full of history and has been designed in a way that potrays the current owners love of the property.We stayed in the wonderful Princess Margaret suite with all its nostalgia and memorabilia. Dinner in the Gunroom was delicious and so was our breakfast the following morning.An unforgettable experience and we will definitely be returning.

What a lovely place offering really luxurious rooms and UNBELIEVABLY fantastic food near Snowdonia. A very, very welcome awaited us after climbing Snowdon in atrocious April weather …. I will remember the bath for many years to come! Seriously the food HAS to be worthy of a Michelin Star and really hope that they are rewarded next year. Fab team and we had an amazing couple of nights ….

We’ve just had a wonderful two night break here. Plans Dina’s is in an excellent position for exploring the Snowdonia National Park. Set in lovely gardens, beautiful, individual rooms, and amazing food. Superb breakfast and dinner is a fabulous experience. We loved every detail of the tasting menu, from the chef’s home made bread with Welsh butter and charcoaled Anglesey sea salt to the scrumptious Welsh honey tart. Definitely looking forward to our next visit. Thank you to all the team, service was excellent, nothing was too much trouble.

This has to be one of the very best places to stay for that special occasion. The attention to detail from all staff is incredible, the property is absolutely luxurious and the food is stunning. This was our second visit and we were not disappointed. We will definitely be back!

Me and my husband went for the evening menu and what an experience we had. From the moment we arrived the staff were very attentive with excellent service, they made you feel like you were the only people there. The menu was on another level each course had been carefully made and presented in a way that you could eat with your eyes, each mouthful was full of flavour. Each course was carefully explained in detail as it was being presented. The setting of the whole experience was ambient, the music in the background helped keep the atmosphere relaxing. Will definitely be going back. Thank you for an amazing experience and making my husband’s birthday special.

Just had food there this evening. What an amazing evening. Great dining experience, lovely ambience, beautiful atmosphere fantastic staff and the food was absolutely beautiful cooked and presented. With the menu changing seasonally, We Will definitely be going back yo sample the other menus.

Once again, a fantastic few days at Plas Dinas. A warm welcome, truly excellent food in the evening and a cracking breakfast with enough choices to cover everyone's needs. Peaceful, warm and in lovely surroundings, it's one of the few hotels where you instantly feel at home and it's very difficult to fault - so I won't! We'll be back again ASAP!

This was our third visit and, again it didn't disappoint. We couldn't fault it. What's not to like? A charming, fabulous, tastefully decorated County House with friendly, efficient staff. A lovely, comfortable room and exceptional food. It is a great, relaxing break for a couple of days and we will be back again
