Watertown Hotel

The hotel was accommodating. We arrived early than the check in time but they allowed us to check in since the room is ready. Hotel staffs are helpful. Nice hotel 👍 As for the breakfast, a lot of variety for local cuisine but limited choices for international. With the Watertown and a glimpse of Great Wall, the total experience is great!!

The hotel is very well located and you can have free entrance to the Gubei water town. But besides that I think the hotel is huge but is missing some details. For example, the room wasn’t really cleaned ( we found some old stuff there) and it’s quite difficult to find the places cause everything is far. Besides that, I enjoyed the breakfast ( good variety) . Poor communication between the staff. Could be much better

We had an incredible experience traveling to Gubei Shui 5-7 October 2022. Were really impressed by room design and facilities, breakfast was great. We had two balconies with beautiful view on the mountains and two bathrooms, it’s very convenient. I fell in love with L’occitane body lotion and shower gel, perfumed and nourishing. Thanks a lot for the experience!

Large, clean, 2 min. walk to Water Town, swimming pool, buffet breakfast with variety of Chinese and western dishes.

Good location near the entrance of Gubei Water Town. Bought the hotel package with breakfast and complimentary tickets to hot spring and ticket entrance to Gubei town. Beautiful room with good choices of breakfast. Swimming pool looks good but the ladies shower head and sprinkler needs to be repaired and have shower curtain for more privacy. There should be an attendant in locker room to assist in sauna, jacuzzi and heater room. There is only one hair dryer. In addition there is no lifeguard nor anyone to tell that the swimming tube needs to pay rmb 20 each (I can't read Chinese) even though a man that appeared suddenly from nowhere at swimming pool told me much later about it. Overall, it's a good experience.

very satisfied with this trip and stay. huge hotel and comfortable! from outside look like a fortress but inside is nice and comfortable. bath water wash hair very smooth, look like it is real spring water. highly recommended!

Good and convenient accomodation; would definitely stay again should we come to visit again.

Stay for 2 nights, hotel is clean and the breakfast is delicious especially the fried rice. Easy and convenient go in Gubei Watertown.

The concierge was professional but not welcoming, however the express service for any room service request was excellent. The staff will arrive within 2 minutes everytime I have a request and it is the fastest service I have experienced.
