The hotel is located next to or near a child nursery. We happen to arrive at a time when the children will let off from classes. The hotel main entrance was blocked by parents and children.
The hotel is located in a residential area. Small eateries were facing the hotel entrance. This presents a negative impression.
Hair conditioner is unavailable.
Air-conditioning / Heating control panel requires some understanding to use it.
Insufficient hangers.
Provided two cotton buds only! There are 2 of us in the room.
No drawers are found.
The toilet bowl flushing is automated. It is occasionally slow. You have to get up before it flushes. This is impractical.
Paper and pen are unavailable.
The room did not have a rattan container for used bath towels to be thrown into.
The room did not have a universal socket and a full length mirror.
The room door doesn’t have an auto-door closer. So we have to take extra precaution to ensure that the door is locked when we go out.
The sink was part of the room. It was located next to the room door. The hangers are located close to the sink. If we are not careful, our clothes may get wet.
The rod for the hangers are too short.
Only 2 Chinese tea bags are provided only for 2 nights. There are no coffee or sugar sachets.
We stayed for 2 nights. The first night didn’t have air-conditioning. The second night has. Inconsistent!
We can hear guests talking as they passed our room.
Breakfast is limited. It’s basically a typical Chinese breakfast; no bread. Need to request some steamed bao, dumpling from the food preparer. There is only a box of tissues on the breakfast countertop. There’s no tissues on the tables. Only chopsticks and porcelain spoons are provided. Spoon, fork and knife can’t be found. Brewed coffee is good.
Breakfast is from 7am to 9:30am. It is normally 7am to 10am.
On the whole, we find that the hotel is trying to save on cost in the room and breakfast.
The washing machine and dryer are effective and easy to use.
There were no seats in the laundry. Consequently, some hotel guests sat at the cold corridor.
A receptionist was found sleeping face-down on a couch next to the front office counter. We were shocked.
A receptionist entered the elevator with us. The buttons on his uniform was undone and his hair looked ruffled.
Front Office staff are responsible for the coffee machine. Strange!
This hotel should be an old building and refurbished.
