ゴールデン ベイ ベリーズ ホテル(Golden Bay Belize Hotel)

It was a good stay overall. My only negative feedback was loud construction noise that occurred from 8 am to 5 pm daily due to the building renovations and expansions.

My Husband and I stayed there for one night. We hid his IPad under our bed when we went to dinner. Just in case, and we wanted to be safe since our safe in our room did not work. We forgot the iPad under the mattress. We called and talked to staff and they told us it was not there. THERE IS LOCATION SERVICES ON APPLE. It was pinging that it was still in the room. They told us IPad is not there. I wouldn’t recommend staying here. If you want an honest place, go somewhere else. It was very disappointing that they were lying to us.

This place is worth every penny that you pay for the rooms are spectacular. The restaurant the roof who wants to Construction gets finished it’s going to be perfect.

The hotel transportation was very nice. Kevin picked us up and was very friendly and informative. There was a safe in the room, however it was just sitting on a shelf in the closet. It was not secured to the shelf and was locked shut. The restaurant was nice, clean, good food and the service was great. Holdane was our waiter for 2 meals and was exceptional. He steered us to Scoops Ice Cream which was a 5 minute walk.

It was a nice place to stay for a night before heading out to the islands. My only gripe is that we messaged the hotel to ask about an airport shuttle. We never heard anything back about it. After we landed, we found the shuttle van that was there to pick up another couple. We were then charged $30 for the shuttle, but since we had not heard anything from the hotel beforehand, this was a surprise charge. Not stoked about it.

The property was not bad at all. Hopefully by the time I’m ready to go back the pool will be in!!

Huge rooms, clean and comfortable. Sadly construction on building means looking at and listening to work crews just outside our window on the fourth floor. Not quite an ocean view! Staff uniformly friendly.

The Golden Bay Belize hotel was an amazing stay. It seems like a newer hotel and had some nice touches. It also didn’t cost an arm and a leg. I wish I was able to soend more thsn 1 night. If definitely will be my Go To hotel the next time I am in Belize City!
