Hotel Amanhavis

This place is simply lovely. The building is historic and quirky and has been carefully and lovingly restored. The management and staff are terrific, the rooms are totally cool, the restaurant is off the charts. We loved our stay here and dream of returning some day.

Clean comfortable and welcoming. Great reception. Welcome text prior to arriving. Location in the heart of Benahavis. A few steps in the resort may prove to be a challenge for some. Efficient and delightful hosts.

Great stay , very comfortable stay. Welcomed by Margo and shown around. Hotel is very quaint with lots of character. Very handy to town area. . Parking was along the street but with no issues. Breakfast was selection and very very nice, Lots of coffee available

A lovely character boutique hotel, only 9 rooms I believe, parts of the hotel dating back over 500 years. The hotel has a moorish/North African theme with a serene and peaceful outdoor pool and terrace area. A lovely warm welcome from Margot. (She also makes a delicious Gin and tonic) Lovely rooms. Superb service, unbelievably good food, very clean and welcoming..... Ideal for couples. Our first time here will definitely revisit.

Stayed here for 5 days at end of May 2022 and had a great time. Booking in was simplicity itself and the nice receptionist showed us to our room (The Christopher Columbus room). The room was charming and very atmospheric (just like in the hotel photos). Bed was very comfortable and the bathroom and bedroom was very clean and welcoming. The owners go out of their way to make you welcome and no request seems to be too much. We used the lovely restaurant while we were there and (like most of the other reviews) the meal was absolutely excellent (served to us in the beautiful outside area overlooking the pool. Location of the hotel couldn't be better - within easy strolling distance of the bars and restaurants in the lovely town of Benahavis. Will certainly consider staying here again when we return (which we will !!!!).

We wanted a relaxing, peaceful, calm, quiet holiday and that is exactly what we got.

Great service, lovely food and interesting & nice rooms

Had 2 dinners in a row at this quaint restaurant and hotel. Would have love to stay for the night too but it was fully booked. Noted the hotel stands out from the rest with its colour facade and theme. The delicious pre dinner drink came in an eye catching bright ceramic tall cup. A great start to dinner. Salad was fresh and the crunchy nuts and fruits were tasty, it was contrast with warm apple at the sides. The seafood stew was deliciously fresh. Dinner ends with strawberry sorbet added with liquor,

Myself and a friend recently stayed at the hotel as a base for watching the European Golf tournament at Valderama, it is an absolute gem, really comfortable, the staff are a joy and the food exceptional, big thank you particularly to Margot, who looked after us so well, she is a credit to the hotel
