タジ エグゾティカ リゾート & スパ ゴア(Taj Exotica Resort & Spa, Goa)

Hello, We booked two rooms via makemytrip. The room category is listed as Exotica rooms. The configuration of beds mentioned while booking says King bed or Twin bed. The image section shows images of a king bed. We went ahead with the booking presuming that the room would have king bed. During check-in the person at the front desk said we are being allotted a twin bed & mentioned the room category of 'Exotica room' is a 'virtual category' & the configuration of the room offered is at Taj's discretion. This came as a total surprise because we had travelled with a nursing infant & it was impossible for us to ***age in two separate beds. On strongly insisting, we were given a room with king bed & in the other room two of the beds were put together to turn it into a king bed. Solving this problem delayed our check-in by almost an hour, we had arrived at the property by 3.15 & got the room at almost 4. This set a really negative benchmark at the beginning of the experience. The information listed online is clearly misguiding. There needs to be clarity on what you are offering. Other than this, the experience has been positive. The rooms were great, service was amazing, food was good. Special mention to coach Johnson for a memorable golfing session.

We moved here after one night at another hotel in South Goa which turned out to be a wedding venue, busy and with extremely loud music. The Taj were able to accommodate us in a seaview room and the hotel itself is a haven of peace and tranquility. There is a beautiful pool.and gardens, direct access to the beach and the staff are all really helpful and well trained. The breakfast buffet is excellent and there are some very good local restaurants just outside the hotel if you want a change from hotel dining. Would love to spend a few more days, it's so relaxing!

25/02/2024 I had a wonderful experience with Taj.. it lived up to its name and Brand . Sudhir Swami at front office ensured me & my wife feel special. He went out of way and in short notice arranged/got our room decorated very nicely . He was very patient with our queries and helpful in every aspect.. Restaurant ***ager : Deepak Bhatnagar was all ears to our concerns and made all efforts for us to feel satisfied and good about our food experience A bliss and soulful stay all I can say and I will carry these memories for a very long time or until next time :) Thank You !!! So much for making my anniversary special

Well its a lovely property ....period no questions on that large ..weel maintained and beautifully crafted on the sea ...Aayan was very helpfull at checkin ..the room we stayed in was large ..not much of a veiw but comfortable. My only issue was the service ..it was pathetic ..u ask for anything and take about 30 mins to come ...and that too with reminders ..if you by mistake lock yourself out ..God help you as then u have to walk back half a kilometer to the reception...they dont tell you about the house phone around the property .Had food for 3 days at the Sala da pranzo...the service was very unlike Taj ..no one approached you ..no one asked what u want ..ordered a roti to a lady called Juhi ..and after 30.mins remined her only to be told she had forgotten...most waiters were always on their phones chatting or scrolling ....it was very depressing Spa was good ...i hope someone reads this and corrects their short comings

A beautiful property set an a little slice of paradise. Exceptional warm service that went well above and beyond. The service was warm and hospitable and every member of the staff went above and beyond to ensure that we were comfortable and well looked after

My daughter really likes this resort and its hospitality since 2020 we have been here 3rd time. This time again our entire experience was very good. At play area Narmin and Debabrata were really good and helpful in keeping our daughter engaged full day. Special mention to Creson. Overall was very happy with service we got in restaurants, housekeeping and front desk as well from Sunil, Malvika and few other guys

Amazing stay . Amazing staff. Ovi has done our anniversary decor so beautifully. Would definitely love to visit again. I asked for the decor last minute but Ovi ***aged to do it so nicely that he amazed us. The hotel and the staff is nice. Thanks Ovi and Taj !

Good food, amazing ambience and big rooms And free upgrade of room 😊 I booked it for my solo trip on my birthday, from check in to checkout the staff was very friendly and polite and helpful. Special mention to Ayaan, Lee and He***t for their services..

First time with my Fam in GOA and in Taj Exotica. Recommended by a dear friends Mr Rabin Jagram. The experience in Taj was one of royalty. Taj keeps up his name 'crown'. What ranked The top: 1. food, 2. swimming pool and sea, 3. services: housekeeping, transportation, and the stores at the resort. What could be better: 1. That you do not have a free tea time and light bite any more, 2. The too slow service of arranging a Quick check in and check out and not mentioning that you can have lunch in your last check out day (it was not mentioned at the start so we would have skipped breakfast). 3. Still using the wrong name. I am the Head Booker and you are still using the name of the other guests even after I have mentioned this 5 times personally and also in the end billing. You address me still with the name of my guests!
