ホテル マンガレミ(Hotel Mangalemi)

What a sweet place. So pretty and a**ospheric. Good position up a small slope and lovely views of the town from the breakfast room. Cup of Raki on arrival was a nice touch. Really friendly staff and good bar. There is no restaurant but there are plenty of places to eat nearby. My room was clean and gorgeous with its own little courtyard. Delightful place.

Our group was welcomed into this beautiful old hotel, right in the middle of town, with a glass of raki. This warm welcome was typical of the friendly service received throughout our stay. The decor is historic and very a**ospheric, and the hotel also has a collection of dogs and cats (if that's your thing!) I would certainly stay here again.

A charming family run hotel, well placed in the centre of delightful Berat. Good size room, comfortable beds, quiet location, good breakfast on a terrace with a good view. Very friendly staff, including the resident cat and dog. A very warm welcome.

The first hotel post communism in Berat. The rooms are slightly better than average. What makes the hotel is the dining. Dinner and breakfast was excellent from the delicious local specialties to the intoxicating beverages to the fair prices but most of all the attentive service. The location is central to all sights. Would I stay here again if in Berat? Yes, of course. Would I recommend it to others? Yes, of course

I can't praise my stay in Hotel Mangelem enough. One night last year, two this time and I cannot praise the stay highly enough. The owner, the staff, the room, were superb. I have travelled to many places, but in my opinion, no hotel that I ever stayed in, came close to the standard of service and friendliness, that I received in Hotel Mangelem. Excellent hotel in the center of Berat on walking distance from both the river and the castle. The rooms were nice, the hospitality outstanding. The breakfast on the rooftop terrace a good start for the day.

Fantastic hotel! The location is perfect, the hotel is extremely charming, the rooms are so beautiful and staff incredible kind. Breakfast is amazing! Just go there in Berat! The prices are also fair for the amenities. This hotel was the house where after the 2 World War the allies decided the future of Albania. So you smell history all over!

What a wonderful welcoming hotel. Our first time in Albania. The hotel was very comfortable, steeped in history. Extremely helpful staff. Wonderful location near the castle and all Berat has to offer.

We had a very special and memorable trip in Berat thanks to this hotel. From our first step inside the establishment, we felt welcomed and cared for. Klisman was the definition of hospitality, helping us with our car and bags and telling us about the locality. We were greeted with traditional Raki and walnut biscuits and sat in a gorgeous and timely bar while waiting for our bags to be dropped to the room. The property is decorated with antiques and cosy interiors and the garden is quaint and beautiful with views of the mountains. The breakfast was included and had a variety of sweet and savoury dishes. All in all, a magical time. Thank you Klisman! One of a kind!
