Perfect. Not the fanciest hotel in the world but amazing location, perfect views, very friendly staff and nice, clean and comfortable. Just what we were looking for - we will definitely be back.

I paid for a fairly large room, which I was happy with. It even had coffee and tea. BUT I was woken up in the middle of the night (just after 01) because there was a BAT flying around in the room. I had not had the window open myself, so it had been there the whole time. I was really shaken up, it was a really disgusting experience. I got a new room (smaller and without the coffee and tea). I had to get in touch with the hotel myself to ask for compensation, no one offered me anything. Not money, not even coffee... In the end I got half the price of the room back. But I do think it was poorly handled by the staff. And it felt disgusting having to think about the fact that the bat had been in the room with me the entire time.

Very clean property with helpful staff. Room was just right for tourists popping in and out.

The staff at the check-in counter when we first checked in were not at all friendly. Didn't seem to care about the guests. The amenities were not great either. Although their site mentions an in house restaurant, they didn't offer any kind of meal services other than coffee. Not sure if the bar was open either. No issues with house keeping, but they do not replenish tea or coffee in the room. Overall, the hotel is less than average for the price you pay.

No frills hotel near Ostbahnhof, great to experience eastern Berlin. Good breakfast.

Value hotel but very clean and the breakfast was great and plentiful.

I am giving this property 5 stars in the context of an mid-budget hotel. Check-in was smooth, location was convenient, staff was kind, room/hallways/lobby were clean, and I had no internal problems in the hotel during my stay. It was really worth the budget. It's the kind of hotel you wish you could always stay in at this budget range. My only comment! - and this is not the hotel's fault - is that there is an open air market across the street which, in classic Berlin fashion, was playing super loud techno dubstep on Saturday night all evening until 10:00 PM. (Thank God it was only until 10.) Unfortunately I found out because I was trying to take a nap at this time before dinner, but bc my window faced the street, there was absolutely no way that was possible. (Ear plugs did not work.) I was cranky but it is what it is. It's Berlin. But please be aware of this and perhaps ask for a room on the other side of the hotel if this concerns you.
