ホテル アメリー ベルリン(Hotel Amelie Berlin)

I’d say that staying at Hotel Amelie is like staying in the spare room of someone who doesn’t like you. You are in a kind of box room, with a bed that is smaller than you. You will be woken up before 8am by a crashing of bins being taken out and/or put back. Breakfast is entirely made of long-life processed food, presumably so it can be taken away, stored and put back the next day. Not very appetising. There is supposed to be wi-fi. It will not work in your room. If you go to the reception area it will work, but so slowly that it is no use for any practical purpose in the 21st century. I don’t understand how it is even possible to have an internet connection that works at 300kbps/s (dial-up modem speed) in 2023, but here it is. If you explain your predicament, the staff will reveal that they have another network that works perfectly well, but of course not in your room. So a bit useless if you’re working while you’re here, as the “reception” area where the wi-fi works isn’t open a lot of the time. If this was a hotel you’d be able to get a coffee pretty much any time, either making it in your room or at reception, possibly by paying for it. But reception is closed and there’s no coffee there anyway, and you have no facilities in your room (not even water glasses), so forget that. Overall, if you’re not planning to sleep, eat breakfast, work, or drink coffee while you’re in Berlin, it’s fine. But otherwise you’d be better off somewhere else.

Nice hotel in a very good location. The pictures do not do the hotel justice. I thought it was nicer than what you see in pictures.

Ich war mit meiner Freundin für eine Woche im Hotel Amelie. Ich muss leider sagen, die Bilder die wir uns vom Hotel angeschaut haben stimmen nicht. Von wegen überall Teppich, überall war Linoleum gelegt. Das Fernsehen war ein Witz, 400 Programme sollten es laut der Dame von der Rezeption sein, gefunden haben wir schlußendlich ca 15 und davon waren einige noch doppelt. Die normalen Programme wie RTL, SAT1 oder Vox waren verschlüsselt. Das Badezimmer war zwar sehr klein. Wenn man das Fenster aufgemacht hat konnte man (sofern der Nachbar sein Fenster auch auf hatte) ins Nachbarbad schauen. Zahnbecher gab es auch nicht. Von WLan ebenfalls keine Spur, mein Handy hat es nicht akzeptiert ist zu unsicher. Frühstück war auch nicht grad der Hit. Brötchen und alles drum herum sicherlich von Aldi. Das wäre ja nicht mal das schlimmste, aber die Brötchen waren teilweise verbrannt oder waren vom Vortag, weil sonst hätten sie anders geschmeckt. Fazit: Das einzig gute an dem Hotel ist die Lage. Wenn ich wieder nach Berlin fahre, dann steige ich dort kein zweites Mal ab.

Nicht zu empfehlen. WLAN? Brieftaube ist schneller. Es wurde in 4 Tagen nicht einmal gereinigt. Frühstück kaum Auswahl. Eier hart wie 30 min gekocht. Kalte Aufbackbrötchen. Zimmer ein Grauen. Hellhörig ohne Ende. Man kann die Mäuse pupsen hören. Nicht eine Nacht durch geschlafen. Nur Krach im Hause. NIE WIEDER Und dann noch 70 Euro/Nacht. Frühstück keine 5 Eiern wert!!! Nur die Lage ist ganz ok. Schnell am Brandenburger Tor oder zur U-Bahn

Esperienza da brivido. Camera sporca, doccia rotta, lenzuola non cambiate. Letto talmente scomodo da far intimorire il più temerario dei fachiri indiani. Ragnatele sul soffitto e polvere alta un dito sopra l'armadio. Finestra che per poter essere aperta necessitava di un consequenziale e faticoso spostamento di mobilia. Una roba davvero impensabile. Ad un certo punto ho avuto la netta sensazione di vivere in una prigione segreta della STASI del 1974. Però più cruda. Consigliato solo per chi vuole vivere il brivido e che non ha timore del rischio.

Wer eine einfache, saubere Übernachtungsmöglichkeit in unmittelbarer Nähe des Friedrichstadt-Palastes sucht, wird hier fündig. Die Zimmer sind klein, etwas abgewohnt aber sauber. Betten sind gut! Frühstück ist basic, ggf. auswärts frühstücken. In unmittelbarer Nähe sind viele Kneipen und Restaurants.

Geschäftlich in Berlin unterwegs. Wählte dieses Hotel wegen Nähe zum Bundestag und günstigen Preis. Zimmerpreis super, Check-in einfach und unkompliziert. Frühstück war nix, leider. Zum Glück in der Straße tolles Café WLAN war ohne Internet, leider. Obwohl praktisch täglich moniert. Zimmer sauber, zweckmäßig. Wurde in der Arbeitswoche sogar 3x gereinigt. Fazit, ideal für arbeitsreichen Berlinaufenthalt.

Das Hotel Amelie hat einen guten Standort und mir hat besonders der Blick aus meinem Fenster zum Bunker gefallen. Hervorzuheben ist außerdem, dass ich 2 Stunden late-check out haben durfte, so dass ein wichtiges Projekt schnell abgewickelt werden konnte. Herzlichen Dank!
