マティルデ ビーチ リゾート(Matilde Beach Resort)

Two sides of the coin: Matilde resort is a cozy peaceful oasis in the middle of insane crowds in Vodice. However 1) we had to leave this oasis to get coffee (because even for breakfast they serve only powder coffee), and 2) to get drinks (cocktails at the bar are an expensive scam). And 3) they do not change the sheets and towels in your room either. Pity: they could have earned so much by offering decent drinks instead of expensive empty ice….

This was my first time to Croatia and so I didn’t know what to expect so my expectations were low, I am usually a 5star kind of girl. I would recommend booking your apar**ent directly with the complex rather than using *********** etc, this is what I did and it was so easy, the team in reception were so happy to help with our questions and requests for rooms to be close ti facilities etc. We went for 3 1 bed sea view apar**ents and the views were to die for looking over the islands and harbour. This complex backs onto the beach and the lively beach promenade. I’ve seen some people complaining about the noise that comes from the beach bars and yes due to the close proximity you can here the music from your balcony, however, once you are inside with doors and windows shut I could not hear a thing. Apar**ents have all you need for a self catering stay, Table and chairs for 4, sofa bed and tv in front part, small kitchenette, with kettle/ coffee machine, sink, hob, fridge and cutlery. Bedroom had double bed, bed linen desk and wardrobe, with door out to the balcony. Beach towels are provided on request from reception, bathroom towels were changed several times over the 5 day stay and plenty of toilet roll. Beds are not made or linen changed only once a week. Hairdryers can be borrowed from reception. Pool was lovely for a refreshing dip but not heated, plenty of sun loungers around the pool but think they would be better investing in either some cushions for the plastic loungers or replacing them all with the rotten type of beds we found these a lot more comfortable. There is no pool bar as such but there is a waiter that will take drink orders however, there is limited “snake” type food available maybe just a potion of fries. However, there are plenty of bars and food places on the beach to eat. Beach is a public beach but if you are staying at the apar**ents the loungers are free. Lovely location with a short walk into the centre of Vodice via the lovely Harbour.where you can pose in front of the luxury boats. There are also supermarkets close by to get anything you need. The distance from the airport is around 100 euros for an hours taxi ride. The complex has a restaurant on site that serves breakfast between 730 to 1030 normal buffet type breakfast no omelettes or freshly made eggs but plenty of food to eat. A little manic between 9 and 1030 but chilled if you go earlier. The restaurant in the evening doesn’t have a large selection of food but what we tried was very nice. All the staff most helpful from helping us book restaurant’s or taxis etc. So to sum up, this little apar**ent complex exceeded all my expectations and more. Thank you all employees at the Matilde beach for making this family holiday one of the best we have had.

A lovely place with friendly and serviceminded staff, wonderful location close to the beach, nice poolarea and good breakfast. There were no cleaning of the appar**ent during the week, just change of towels and new toiletpaper/rubbishbags so thats our only minus.

Nice and comfortable, but expensive .Pool area good. Sometimes guest from other accommodation are using the pool, and this can be annoying. Near the city center, just 10 minutes walking along the harbor.

Resort is nice. Parking is for free inside resort. Apar**ent is nice and clean. Pool is quite OK and big enough. If it would be heated a little bit would be even better. The beach in front of resort is also OK.

Perfecte bedden, airco en wifi in appartement. Lekker ruim en schoon appartement. Vriendelijk personeel en altijd in de weer om de boel netjes te houden. Goed en erg uitgebreid ontbijt, lunch kun je overslaan. Je loopt door het hek in de tuin meteen de gezellige drukte in. In je appartement en bij het zwembad ervaar je de drukte zo dichtbij helemaal niet. Enige minpunt is de plastic ligbedden waar geen matjes op liggen. 's Avonds vooral gezelligheid aan de overkant bij de haven en het oude gedeelte van het stadje Vodice.

Auch beim 2. Mal wurde ich nicht enttäuscht. Wir waren zu diesem Zeitpunkt die einzigen Gäste, denen wirklich alle Wünsche erfüllt wurden. Das Appar**ent ist geräumig gewesen mit wunderbarem Meerblick, es war sehr ruhig (Vorsaison), das Frühstück war ausreichend und gut. Es wurden alle Sonderwünsche gerne erfüllt. (noch kein Buffet, da wir ja die einzigen Gäste waren) Der Strand ist sehr sauber und zieht sich in beide Richtung ewig dahin. zum Joggen sehr nett, immer am Meer entlang. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in nächster Nähe. Die Poolanlage ist traumhaft schön direkt an der Promenade zum Meer. Hotel sehr zu empfehlen!
