Absolute Gem of a Hotel ! We stayed for 4 nights in September. Had a lovey king size bed and large opening French windows , the room was very quiet, even with the windows open. The room was a perfect temperature, slightly cool which was good as it was very hot outside . Ceiling fan was great at night to keep the air moving . There was A/C but we didn’t need it . Lovely bathroom and amazing shower . Room and hotel was absolutely spotless, and the staff could not be more friendly and helpful. We had breakfast there on our first morning which was absolutely lovely, all fresh and local produce. We actually got engaged during this holiday, and are bringing the whole family to Biarritz in June for the “ honeymoon “ and we will all be staying at this hotel ! It’s a great location for shops and access to the main beaches and restaurant.

My wife and I spent 4 nights here, and we highly recommend this hotel! It's a lovely small boutique hotel in a quiet, centrally location part of Biarritz. We chose the room with a sea view and we were not disappointed. The room was tastefully designed and had indeed a sea view, albeit from a couple kms away. The staff were friendly too and we will be back. Merci!

My friends and i spent a great time at la maison du lierre ! We've booked connecting rooms with a beautiful garden view. It was very clean and all the team was very helpful and kind. They also have a yummy brekkie with local products !! Très délicieux Unfortynately, the weather wasn't great but they have a spa on site with sauna and massages so we could relax for a day instead of visiting. Duo massages were awesome by the way. It was our first time in Biarritz and we had such a great moment in this beautiful hotel. We will recommand this place to our friends and family and we will definitely come back here next year. The hotel is perfectly situated so that you can walk anywhere in the city for shops, restaurants and the beach. It is a small delightfully friendly hotel next to a very nice park. The rooms are quite comfortable, not cramped for space like many of the hotels in France. The petite dejuener was very good. If you have a car, parking on the street can be a challenge finding a spot. All the spots are typically "payant" and are not inexpensive to park during the day. Free at night until 9am. We loved our stay and definitely would go back again.

A perfect stay for a couple of nights in the heart of Biarritz. This exquisitely quaint hotel offers excellent service from a warm and friendly staff, they really went above and beyond my expectations. Whether you’re travelling solo or as a couple, look no further than this lovely establishment.

A beautiful belle epoque house in a quiet part of town just up the hill from the beach, close to the ballet theatre and jardin public (from which you can catch the local bus to the airport). The public areas were spotlessly clean and beautifully furnished. Very friendly staff. We had a room on the third floor which was bright, with a new bathroom, and kettle with tea/coffee. The wardrobe was quite small so not much room for storage, but we were only staying 3 nights. They have a spa service of massages, but we didn't have time to try. Breakfast was a delight - all beautifully presented, with a good range of cheese, pastries, jams and fresh orange juice. I would stay here again. Merci beaucoup!
