Location was great. Honestly I would not book again. Building 3 had a fly trap but it just attracted all the flies and anytime we’d open our door we’d get about 5 flies into our room.
Cleanliness is the reason why I wouldn’t go back. I got bed bugs as well. I slept with my children in the room so specially that bed, but my husband slept on the pull out couch (super thin mattress and uncomfortable, which is expected unfortunately) but he didn’t get bed bug bites.
The only good thing is that we were there for Fourth of July and being lakeside the view was amazing both morning and evening.

We had an excellent enjoyable stay at this hotel. It’s literally walking distance to the lake and the community per se it’s a convenient and perfect place to spend time with the family in beautiful Big Bear.

This is one of our favorite places at Bear. If you're looking for a 5 star resort this isn't your place. Though nothing in bear really is. If you want cute- great amenities and peaceful. This is it.

had a nice one night stay
Before booking i was afraid it would be old and outdated but it’s definitely not as bad as some reviews i read on yelp
it’s not a five star resort but it was clean and comfortable

we loved our stay, the location and facilities. Room and pool was clean, the outdoor hot tub had a bit of sand at the bottom .. but we loved the view.
Will definitely come back in the summer!.

Good room with a patio facing the lake. I definitely recommend this lodge. Overall was a great place to stay.

The accommodations were fantastic. It was cozy and very comfortable. Will definitely stay again when I go back up to visit my daughter. Having the full kitchen with dishes and utensils was so fantastic!
