La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Biloxi

We never previously stayed at a LaQuinta and I can assure you we never will again!!! We were lied to about the room by the front desk person who got off at 3 p.m. The first room we were in, that the front desk person lied about and moved us to, appeared to have water coming up through the floor. When we entered the room water was puddles under the bed and around two sides of it. We cleaned it up except for the part to show the water was clear and not a mess made by our dog. When we tried to call the front desk, the room phone did not work at all not even a dial tone. While waiting for the front desk to change our room, we flushed the toilet and it was like a floodgate of water started appearing from the floor. Getting back to the front desk girl lying to us. I told her that I cannot physically climb stairs because she was telling me i would have to climb 3 flights of stairs dur to problems with the elevator. We were told that though the room would be a queen bed, instead of a king, it was not as far to walk as the elevator and it was a drive up room. Well, let me tell you, we passed the elevator on the way to the room and it was all the way to the end of the hallway. Also, from the after 3 p.m. desk clerk, who straightened out the first desk clerk's mess and who did not lie to us, we found out this LaQuinta has NO drive up rooms!!! I has prepaid our room with no mention of a fee for our dog. So, in addition, this dishonest front deskperson charges us a $25 fee for our dog. When we checked out today, my husband asked for a receipt and the dishonest front desk person told him it would be emailed to us. Honestly, at this point we do not trust that our credit card information is secure and has not been lifted. Given all of this, we will NEVER stay at any LaQuinta again and will actively discourage our friends and family from staying in any LaQuinta.

Very comfortable and convenient of the highway. Food was good

It was a nice place my top comforter just had stains but they immediately gave me another one it was a quiet and clean place

Worse stay ever. The staff was very friendly. The elevator kept breaking. Water was around the dresser from the fridge upon arrival at the room. The fridge kept making a popping noise and I didn't waste my time notifying the front desk. Also, the faulty fire alarm went off 2 days in a row around 2am. I couldn't go back to sleep. I also have back issues and walking up and down stairs to the 3rd floor had me in pain. I couldn't even enjoy my trip. Wasn't offered anything for the ridiculous inconvenience. I've never had a problem with LaQuinta but I wouldn't recommend the one in Biloxi to anyone.. I don't blame the staff because they were very nice and friendly.. The cleaning staff was also very friendly.. The shelf that holds the soap in the bathroom also broke but was fixed immediately but I did overhear a conversation that accused me of breaking it.

The elevator was inoperable. The grounds are overgrown and need a general cleaning. Great staff, very friendly.

The ice machine on first floor not working and elevators not working, but I was blessed to get a first floor room—but the front desk people were the best. The breakfast was good area was clean
