First step in the lobby and i noticed that it smelled so good and looked real clean

Dirty worn out furniture. Cigarette burns on the carpet. Worste hotel I’ve stayed in in many years

There was pee around the toilet on the walls, there were cochroaches, the bill was higher than what was stated on **********, dark stains on the couch, when we opened the sofa bed it was completely gross - hair, stains, etc. it was awful. the curtain didn't work to close. my husband has the pics - apologies. but worst trip ever

Liked because it is close to hospital. Next to interstate and truck noise.

Check-in staff was great. Morning staff seemed like they had more important things to do. Stayed at end of first floor, non smoking, but not sure policy enforced. Breakfast was great, room was great, TV during breakfast was set to Non-kid friendly channel with lots of children in area. No staff around to ask for change.

The night clerk that checked me in was fabulous. I am so sorry that I did not get her name to formally brag on her attitude, actions, and professionalism. The room was accommodating and near the hospital where I had a procedure done the following day. My wife act the breakfast and had coffee and both were good.

We had a great stay! The staff was very patient considering there were a million teenage baseball players and their families at the hotel! Great experience! Rooms were clean and spacious! Only complaint we have is that the washer had black mold which it stained all over our white baseball pants!!! And $8 pet load is pretty pricey for stained pants! This is no reflection on the staff, it’s a reflection on maintenance of the washers! Front load washer gaskets have to be cleaned regularly to prevent mold and that isn’t occurring!

The good: Friendly responsive staff. Well designed spacious rooms. Location very close to the Summit which has many restaurants. Easy access and parking. The bad: Breakfast was not very good. The heated unit that holds the egg omelets and breakfast sandwiches dries them out terribly. The eggs are rubbery and the breakfast sandwiches are hard as bricks and impossible to eat. Because the breakfast buffet is an important feature to us we’ll look for somewhere else to stay next time. Also you do not get housekeeping unless you request. I think it should be opposite in that housekeeping is standard and you request to opt out if that is what you prefer. Honestly I would have liked to have my bed made and towels replenished without having to ask. After all, that’s one of the nice perks of staying at a hotel and covid really can’t be used as an excuse anymore! Overall this is a nice hotel that with a few tweaks would be a great place to stay.

We come down for baseball at the Hoover Met and have stayed at a few places and so far this one is the best. The front desk was extremely friendly and helped with all our needs. You could tell a pet had stayed in the room we had by the smell (it wasn't awful but the room needed to be freshened up) but other than that the place was great. Breakfast was great the next morning!
