Sunnydale

Unfortunately this hotel did not really live up to the rating I was expecting On arrival we were asked for £50 cash as a deposit against any damage we may cause which included coffee stains we found one straight away on the floor next to the bed took pictures showed the owner and he said he means on the bed The owner wasn’t warm or welcoming in fact gave us a lecture about leaving the lights and TV on because of the cost of living and we must remove our shoes if we wanted to use the lounge

Sparkling clean hotel, friendly service and good breakfast too. We stayed for two nights in a twin bedroom had a good sized bathroom. Extra blanket in the wardrobe was handy as the room was a little chilly the first night. Hotel is very close to the tram stop at gyn sqaure too

Lovely B and B. Great location, tram station a few minutes walk. Spotlessly clean and delicious breakfast. Rooms had everything you could need. Friendly and very hardworking owners. We have had a lovely stay, thank you.

Be aware if you.have children they are only.allowed cereal and toast said could have either link of sausage or slice of bacon.never been to another hotel where it is likd that think.this hotel is more suited to couples rather than familys also have to pay 50.pound per room.as long as no dsmages get money back when you check up hotel is very clean carnt fault that told to take shoes off if we wanted to go in tv.lounge.

My friend and I have just got back from Blackpool. The Sunnydale was a very welcoming hotel. The owners are really lovely and extremely helpful. The hotel was spotlessly clean, we stayed in a room which hadn't yet had a makeover as the rest of the rooms had. It was spotless and beds were really comfortable. Breakfast was lovely, a good choice, catering for everyone. We'll definitely be going back

Comfortable rooms. Great breakfasts and nice hosts. Good value for money.not too far from the town and near to a great tram service. Myself and my friend came for a couple of days to meet up with old friends nearby and I think I chose a excellent base

Arrived on 18th June for 2 night stay on arrival greeted by manager very polite ..First impression was very clean and spotless hotel checked in and shown room which was very big with a super king size bed .shower room very spacious .tea and coffee kettle in room flat screen tv overall room was perfect this hotel is run by a family who were so informant and friendly the breakfasts was perfect with fantastic service overall 10/10 and will go back again mr&Mrs jeal

Booked this hotel for 7 people in October 2023 4 adults and 3 children a day after the booking a rude man rang to explain two of the children wjth being 5 and 3 would only get 1 sausage and beans for breakfast which my two kids don’t like beans so asked could we swap and told yes eggs but one is allergic to eggs and told no sorry I am not McDonald’s pay for extra or bring own food rude from start to finish so cancelled the two books which was £400 and booked somewhere else that can accommodate for allergies and will be reporting to food h hygiene and the local council to this hotel

A nice refurbished place in a quiet area just off front and tram stop. Room 3 which is a small double on the 1st floor. Room nice bright and fresh but small, bathroom ok but door won't open fully due to shower cubicle, only a small basin which you can't get kettle under taps. My wife was concerned about the large frosted window and felt uneasy and exposed with some other buildings opposite, could do with a blind or something. These are only cosmetic things that could be sorted but shame they've only just refurbished. Bed was very comfy and little noise from rest of building but not sure how many rooms were being used. Which takes me to a slightly negative point. We were booked into the Collingwood opposite which they own too. 2 days prior to arrival the owner Franco rang to inform us that work was bring done in the Collingwood and would take another week to complete so he said we have a room at the Sunnydale for you which is much better Room as its been refurbished and we could still park at Collingwood. I suppose we had a choice but made out we were getting a better deal as we could have it for same price. On arrival we were met by nagri? I'm assuming francos wife, very pleasant. She pointed out we had not booked breakfast but if we wanted one it would be £10 each per day. We said we might have one on mon before we leave she said just remind her and pay her on sun. We declined in the end as I looked on *********** and they were offering rooms cheaper than what we'd paid and breakfast was included, so on principle decided to have brekky at a cafe nearby. We were disappointed that we'd been told it was a nicer room etc and I think breakfast could have been added due to being relocated, at least for one of the days. Note, we paid £144 for the 2 nights and seemed a lot for such a small room. I'm not suggesting we were ripped off or anything but could have offered a brekky as a courtesy which relocating.
