Best Christmas for years Honestly cannot find anything negative to say We were welcomed like old friends by Paul and Michelle and helped to our rooms which were lovely : clean, warm with toiletries and bottled water. The bar/ dining area was a constant hive of activity with guests all becoming friends over drinks with music playing in the background. The breakfast was gorgeous- definitely try the sausages as they are divine. We were spoiled over the whole xmas with a Christmas lunch ( we had prebooked elsewhere so missed this) buffet on boxing day, pots of tea available anytime you wanted and Michelle and Paul went out of their way to ensure everyone was happy. Booked a last minute night away at Abbey Lodge and could not be any more impressed. Michelle is amazingly friendly, very accommodating and really cannot do enough for you. The room was fresh, bright and clean and lovely and warm when we got back to our room in the early hours. Breakfast was superb and bless Michelle she got some veggie sausages especially for us which was lovely of her. The breakfast was fit for a king. We had a bad experience a couple of weeks ago in a hotel on the same road, but our stay at Abbey Lodge more than made up for it. Thanks Michelle, we will be in touch re January 27th xx

Very clean and well maintained, very good host and fantastic breakfast with large portion of quality ingredients. Rooms en-suite and vary in sizes but all spotless. I would Definitely recommend this B&B

Booked for 1 night stay with family through *********** after reading some fantastic reviews. Arrived to a very nice welcome from the owner. Rooms where pretty spacious and clean but found they could have been cleaner ( long hairs on the floor ) the bed was very comfy. I found some things could do with a little attention/tlc and added bits ( didn't find the most expensive room worth the money ) Bathroom needed a bath mat as floor was slippy after a shower. No info about the hotel in the rooms Or info on how to work the TV Breakfast was good , choice of ceareal, toast and a full English. Disappointed they don't fry eggs tho? Would have liked a choice of egg but that's just my opionon also the tomato sausage was lovely tho. I would stay here again but I Defo think the plVe could do with a few tweaks here and there.

Stayed at this B+B for one night in August, the room was adequate and spacious, cracking little shower. Nice breakfast, plenty of choice, cereal, toast, full English as well. The owner was really welcoming too. 5 mins from all the pubs in north shore. Recommend anyone to stay here. Would definitely book again!

Not a bad hotel the owners are super friendly and welcoming. Rooms are clean, beds are super comfy too. Breakfast was nice too. Just needs a few tweaks in our opinion, better curtains or blinds as it let all the light in really early in the morning. Some bits are a little bit scruffy needs a bit more TLC and no bar set up for customers use, also some tables and chairs on the front would have been nice. Overall not bad for the pice :-)

Great little B&B. Lovely and clean in bedroom and bathroom. Run by a nice group of people who were always keen to ensure you were ok. They did pizzas in an evening and whilst we didn’t have one it’s an option. Breakfast was great. Full English plus cereal and toast if you want it. Good location. Only an hours parking on road up to 6pm Saturday night but unrestricted after that. Close to centre but far enough out to not be noisy. Kettle and ample tea and coffee in rooms. Towels and bedding smelt lovely too. Will use this again.

Well wot can I say about this place but just WOW 👌🏼👌🏼🤩. Just spent the best weekend away at the Abbey Lodge and was thrilled with both the accommodation, the cleanliness and most of all the Owners and staff. Michelle, Paul and Will, the owners were so attentive n nothing was too much. They really made me feel like one of the family and even invited to me the private function they had on this weekend which was for Michelle and Paul’s wedding. Brilliant night, atmosphere was great and amazing fun Can’t wait to go back even thinking about goin back for my 50th birthday weekend now Highly recommend Breakfast included was to die for. Carl the Chef so attentive to ur needs. Nothing was too much All in all the best weekend Iv had by far Hats off to u all Outstanding team 🤩🤩
