4th Floor room, great sea view soon spoiled by multiple reasons. Is an old hotel that needs updating.

Norbreck Castle is okay but has the potential to be so much more. On the outside it looks different to those in the area but inside, it doesn't stand out amongst the others. Walking along the corridor to get to our room, I had wondered what we had let ourselves in for. The floor was full of litter and toilet rolls left outside rooms. The room itself was okay, relatively clean, however it did whistle when you open the window! The windows weren't very clean and the soap dispenser pumped out sludge and dirty water. It was reported to the reception desk, but in the 2 days we were there, it wasn't cleaned or replaced. We only chose to eat there for breakfast. The cooked food was fine, the 'continental' option was disappointing. The staff were friendly. The location isn't too bad and there's a tram stop at the front which is helpful for getting around to visit the sites. Compared to hotels abroad for the same price range, it's well below standard. Would I visit again? Yes, but it wouldn't be my first choice.

Was happy with our stay at the hotel  I did not except the plenty of food we were offered  Was so delicious  The room was clean  Only the carpets are old and car park is difficulty  But l would love to go again  I really enjoyed the food  Had variety and you would until you are full Thank you and keep it up

In my opinion It’s a basic b&b at best it’s a 3* Lots of coaches come here so pretty busy. Be aware even if your itinerary says parking that does not mean it’s been paid. It’s an additional £3 Also I didn’t get the lady’s name at reception who booked us in but she was pretty blunt and rude. The rest of the staff throughout was fantastic.

Norbreck is one of my happy places 😁 I have enjoyed every stay i have had so far ...I will continue yo have stays at Norbreck as it helps with my mental health after loosing both parents recently and me having a break down .. totally heartbroken 💔 thankyou for your services .. 10/10 overall 😁💙💯

It is obvious that the hotel is one of the most oldest in the region but the location is good and the staff's are friendly. My daughter love the pool and it's all fun lodging here.

This hotel is full of people on benefits living in , there was no running water in the bath just a few drops coming out of the tap quite disgraceful to be fair. only 1 large towel provided in a double room with also a single bed in what i never requested. the staff at the front desk looked ********, there was no refreshments apart from a vending machine which took cash only, there was no means of changing notes into coins and who carry’s cash these days another downside, and it’s quite a distance form anywhere with amenities.

The place is old and has seen better days. Most Britannia hotels are like this, but I like the old-fashioned buildings. Our room was clean, breakfast was lovely and most staff were friendly. The bingo should have been in the adults only bar, as there was far too much noise and human traffic. It was great to see it busy, but not everyone was sober and respectful, so it was good to see security guards patrolling the hotel It was disappointing that the spa pool was closed, as this was a selling point for us.

no bath towels in our room and the hygiene of the room and bathroom was critical...so dirty hotel... The whole hotel, from the lobby to the room, there was rubbish everywhere...disappeared...in the corridors shouting, running and no one cares what time is it!..... The bed was so strange and not comfortable I will say that our ribs and back hurt from the springs of the mattress...I will definitely not go back again!!!!

I was pleasantly surprised that the room was clean after reading some reviews. Overall, the hotel is clean in some areas in need of some tlc and updating.
