Janet at the service Desk was amazing and super friendly ☺️ very convenient location

Room smelled like cigarettes. Air Conditioner was broke. There was a fan in the room that was covered in dust. People above us partied and kept us up til 2 in the morning. Management couldn't care less. Wouldnt stay here if you paid me.

The property looks fine on the outside. The inside is dated. The staff was fine. In the evening the places smells like fried fish and pot, in my opinion. We left some crumbs on a plate and came back to find it covered with ants. Then we started seeing them all over the room. The offered to move us to a different room. We decided the best move was to leave. If you stay there you will see it was worth the extra money to stay at the Hampton Inn.

The room was comfortable, spacious, and well-appointed. Check-in and check-out were efficient and simple. My only quibble was that I could never get the WiFi to connect—not a major issue on this brief personal trip, but at other times it would have been an annoyance. For an extended stay, this would be an excellent choice—if the WiFi works!

Only problem was the smoke detector was sitting on the chair when I walked in the room. Everything else was good

Wrong room to start, toilet no working right, then got charged for two rooms, will never stay their again, service was just horrible.

The property was great but there was no internet. Only one young girl at the counter and she didn’t speak English. Said she was there by herself with nobody to call in case of emergency or repair the internet.

This was my second stay at Candlewood in Bluffton. The first time I was there, another guest kindly warned me and my grandchildren not to walk on the paths outside the hotel because of snakes. I assumed the guest must have seen one. On my visit this past weekend, my Granddaughter asked me why there was a box with a hole in it by the front door? I walked closer and the box said, "Danger, Do Not Touch, Venomous". I then noticed the boxes were everywhere around the hotel. They obviously are snake traps. How can a hotel stay opened if it has a snake infestation? This left me wondering how many snakes get inside the hotel? I will never return.
