We stayed here for 2 nights with my friends during our trip to Bohol. Our tour service booked this for us as part of their package. Hostel is far from Alona Beach (if this is where you want to go during your stay). There are a couple of local stores within the vicinity, but if you’re looking for convenience, seek other hostels (assess your budget). 🟢 AC is working great, though a bit noisy since it’s a window-type unit. 🟢 Bed sheets and towels provided are clean and fresh. Beds were made well enough for a good night sleep after a day of touring. 🟢 Price per night is for travellers with a very tight budget. 🟠 Water supply for shower is available 24/7, but unavailable for bidet, water cabin, and sink - maybe has something to do with the connection. Shower water seems like a mix of salt water and fresh water though. Needs checking for contamination in the pipe connections. 🟠 Flat screen TV is decent for playing videos, photos, and music. Cable is connected, but has no channels to offer. 🟠 Hostel exterior needs a face lift - looks eerie from the outside. Front desk is located at the back of the entrance - what??? 🟠 Swimming pool is accessible to check-in customers 24/7. Size is decent - not big, not deep. However, water supplied is a mix of salt water and fresh water. 🔴 Floor tiles creak with your footsteps, and is due to crack when stepped on at a wrong instance. 🔴 Drying racks are a bit too small in proportion to the room capacity - ours even had a missing leg stand affecting stability of the rack specially after coming from boat trips and island hopping where we have lots of wet clothes to hang and dry. 🔴 No internet connection but has strong WiFi signal throughout the rooms. 🔴 Cellular signal is NIL inside the rooms - you need to go to the common areas to have signal. This will be a problem specially if you coordinate with your tour guides through SMS or Messenger/WhatsApp/Viber.
