I would like to say a very big thank you to Alice and staff at Afrique Boutique Hotel for your assistance. My family and I had a private dinner last night and the experience was phenomenal. Special thank you to Grace and Alfred for the exceptional service. The atmosphere was excellent, the food and beverages were exquisite and we had a great overall experience. I would highly recommend Afrique Boutique Hotel to anyone who is looking for an amazing dining experience. I, for one, will definitely be returning.

We were at the restaurant for a valentines day dinner. It was a 9 course set menu, The whole experience was lovely and the food was magnificent. The decor was pleasant, tables spaced nicely apart and all of the staff were extremely friendly. A truly wonderful experience from start to finish.

Because this is a 5-star venue, I arrived with high expectations for our training session. 27 Delegates had no hot water for tea/coffee because there was no electricity. We started the conference late due to this power failure too. The general manager refused to apologise and blamed it on Eskom & cable theft. Management was extremely condescending and arrogant. On day-2, 11 x Delegates complained to me about the small "bite size" Spinach Rolls tasting like paint / rancid butter. I took a photo of three spinach rolls that had one bite out of them (see attached), and then put back on the plate because they were inedible. The owner of the property (Chris Goosen) and the GM (Chris) refused to accept this feedback from 11 of my Delegates and said the "facts are they were fine". The owner Chris Goosen (15h00, 16 Aug 2024) stuck his finger in my face and said "If you put anything on social media, I will come after you." This was said in front of five of my Delegates! One delegate seeing and overhearing this came over and said he was one of the delegates who could not eat the roll because it tasted like paint. Management did not even offer to refund my client for the inedible food. Very unfair & unreasonable treatment by senior management.

ホテルからの返信: Good Day IanRheeder Markitects Consulting will be the first business in our history that will not be allowed back on our premises because of your behavior. We never blamed Eskom or cable theft; we simply stated the facts of what happened. We have solar and a generator, upon the cable theft there was a power surge of some kind that blew the batteries of the generator and the solar computer. All of this resulted in the electricity being off for 30 minutes. On day 2 - 30 Spinach & feta pastries, amongst other snacks were sent out. Three spinach rolls were half eaten as your photo shows, everything else was consumed, literally. When asking your delegates in front of our staff, delegates informed you that the food is wonderful, 7 delegates as witnessed by the staff informed you that they did not like the taste. People are allowed to differ on what they like and not like. Our GM did a full investigation to ensure nothing went wrong regarding the pastries, the cold chain was never broken, all dates of products were checked etc. We baked more rolls from the same batch, we could not find anything faulty. You called for our GM to speak to him regarding the rolls. Using profane language and threats to communicate, stating that you will destroy this business and vow to take us apart. Our GM informed you that the conversation is now over as we do not conduct ourselves in that fashion. Lunch time, 6 of your delegates came to us saying that we must ignore you, everything is perfect. After the conference you approached the owner, he told you that you are welcome to post anything on social media, just know that after your foul language and threats you will never be allowed back on the premises. This conversation did not happen in front of any of your delegates. Your lies of the owner is defamation of character. Every interaction is on video, clearly showing that you are being untruthful, yet more lies. We contacted the client and asked her to please ask all attending delegates for feedback, not one negative comment was received. All of this has happened because you did not like a spinach roll! We will be happy to do a live lie detector test with you, under oath to see who is speaking the truth.

I’ve been coming to this hotel since 2007 It’s is a lovely hotel with superb food and the service is second to none!!! Staff are extremely attentive and friendly. Rooms are spacious, clean. Owners are always on site and nothing is too much! Highly recommended

We loved our stay at Afrique Boutique Hotel, from the time we arrived we were treated to great hospitality and food. The staff are thoughtful and attentive. The rooms are clean and very comfortable, the room each have their own patio little that lead out to a stunning garden. The restaurant produces exceptional dishes with a huge selection of wine, we ate in the whole weekend! We will be back to stay without hesitation!!

We stayed there two nights for little relax between Kruger and Zimbabwe trips. They did our laundry and we were laying on a sofa in garden playing cards.

The owner went out of his way to make sure I felt special on my birthday. The food was absolutely divine and the staff were excellent! Cannot recommend Afriqu Boutique enough! All their dishes are made from scratch and the overall experience is excellent.

We had the most amazing Romantic dinner. The food was amazing, the portions were good, the service was excellent. They really went out of their way to make the afternoon special. The venue is stunning and the staff are friendly. Thank you 10/10 would eat again.

We hosted my sister a beautiful 40th birthday surprise dinner. The food was to die for, everyone went for seconds and The deco was everything I asked for and more. They allowed us to bring our own music which was super awesome. The only issue was that they were short of ciders, but surely this can be fixed in future.

Great gem around Boksburg . Fabulous rooms , clean linen .Their food is fantastic, they have a variety of meats on their menu.Too notch customer service ..from the moment I came in , I was treated like royalty . Excellent art work ..I'm definitely coming back

We as 'n organization had a network breakfast where we invited various role players in the community, Afrique Boutique Hotel was amazing, they set everything up for this breakfast. They were very efficient. The staff was very friendly and the food was amazing. We only received positive feedback from all of the individuals that attended the business meeting. I can highly recommend them
