Opportunity to visit for 2 nights to attend a company offsite. Hotel had gone through extensive renovation from when I last visited a few years ago. I have to confess I like/prefer the previous version much better. But service remains excellent throughout the premises. Check-in was courteous, efficient and professional. Assigned room was as expected of the chain - nice furnishings and a great bed. Shower hosted a rain shower that provided good pressure/volume. There were ample electrical outlets including next to the bed that offered a number of options. Temperature control was less than optimal - it did not cool to the set temperature because I suspect they have it on heating setting for the winter - room was at a constant 70 C that is too warm to sleep. I appreciated access to the "vault" that offered a nice collection of snacks and beverages - all day. Conference facilities were well managed. Food (quality and taste) was good - for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Staff worked hard and were very attentive. This is a great hotel for its location - in the center of Boston. I give it 4 instead of 5 syars because the new decor does not resonate with me. I also miss the great tea room on the first floor and the great aujourd hui restaurant.

Though my Publicyst advised vs. my leaving a review, I couldn't resist the chance to exclaim & share my experience. What felt akin to extraordinary rendition of an heroïcally fantastic variety -- imagine being called in from the bullpen 'to pitch after a contentious yoga date & bloody mary brunch -- turned out to be exclammable luxuriation high above Boston ***** Garden. After more than a dozen hours of residency, it's fair to say there's a fine line b/w psycho and psycho"̦logyst. Great linens !̦ thank you'̦ Yoku et al.

Excellent service throughout. We decided at the last minute to stay at the Four Seasons Boston. Called in house reservations and they could not be more professional or accommodating. Requested a room on the same floor as the swimming pool as well as accommodations for 3. Upon arrival at around 1:30 pm we were greeted warmly and offered an upgrade so as to situate us near the pool as requested. Once in the room a large and comfortable rollaway bed was brought and set up promptly. Our room had a beautiful view overlooking the commons. When booking the reservation we were asked what brought us to Boston and it was noted that we were attending a show in Cambridge. Later in the day we decided to change our dinner plans due to weather and the front desk was wonderful recommending and finding us a restaurant closer to the venue. Later that evening and after the show we requested a toothbrush that was sent up promptly and displayed elegantly. In the morning the cafe has complementary coffee, tea and light pastries. Such a nice touch! Additionally, on the floor instead of just an ice machine there are numerous complementary snacks and drinks. Our weekend in Boston was a delightful pleasure. Many thanks to the staff at the Four Seasons Boston. Top notch and a one! We thoroughly enjoyed!

What can I say, we love Four Seasons. It had been a few years since we stayed here, and they still had all of our family information in their system. We were greeted by knowledgeable staff and a beautifully renovated lobby and first floor. We had a king suite connected to a king. As expected in a Four Seasons (and you pay for this expectation!), the bedrooms, bathrooms and overall accommodations were top notch. Our room was decorated with treats to ring in the new year, including some Whoopi pies and celebratory chocolates and fruits. We enjoyed a walk around the Boston Common, a visit to the nearby Escape Room, a morning work out in their athletic facilities, and some delicious room service. Our only complaint is that there was a weird electrical/ clicking noise in both of our rooms. It was a soft noise, but enough to keep both me and my teen boys awake in our rooms.

I love the Four Seasons chain and have been staying at their hotels for years. Room was clean, check in easy but it is the most sterile FS property that I’ve ever stayed at. This property used to have one of the great lounge/bar/sitting areas in the city. It was a very warm and welcoming area that you could sit at and enjoy a drink and lite bites while looking out large plate glass windows into the Common. It’s been replaced by a very small and cold brasserie that has a total of 6 bar seats with 3 seats on each side of a service station and a smattering of tables and chairs. At the risk of sounding snobbish this breakfast/lunch nook would fit in great in a Holiday Inn. What a huge mistake they made in getting rid of the old Bristol Lounge. During our stay I encountered multiple guests that felt the same way.

We really enjoyed our stay at Four Seasons Boston. The rooms are not overly large but perfectly appointed. The same with the bathrooms. The beds were like sleeping on a cloud. Housekeeping was superb. Decor was modern and quite beautiful, a break away from the standard FS decor. From the doormen to the reception we always felt well looked after and a valuable guest. The children received the warmest welcome and were well looked after throughout our stay. They thought it was the best hotel ever because of The Vault - a room filled with sweets, snacks and a drinks machine which you can access for free with your key card. It is little touches like this that can make a hotel so memorable. I don't think they will ever forget it. As a guest it is always so nice when a hotel offers something for free, rather than charging you an arm and a leg for it because they can. The Four Seasons Boston wins on every front. We would return in an instant. Bravo!
