A practical hotel next to the beach. This is a good option for an overnight stop to rest during a trip to/from the UK. Wake up to a good breakfast and the sound of the sea, then continue your journey. Very friendly and helpful staff.

This relatively small hotel is conveniently located on the D-940. Access by car is very easy, and there's a large public parking lot across the street. The hotel faces Boulogne Plage, a wide, sandy beach, and is a very short walk from Naussicaá, which bills itself as the largest aquarium in Europe. We found we could also walk into downtown Boulogne, as well as to the medieval walled city, although that was a bit of a hike and wouldn't be for everyone. Our room, as well as the common areas, were clean and modern. As with most European hotels, the rooms are a bit small by American standards, but we found ours to be entirely adequate to our needs. The staff were excellent - welcoming, friendly, and very helpful. My only downside was the Wifi service. It seems to be provided by a third party. Log-on was VERY slow and for some reason it didn't get along well with my antivirus and VPN. But once you finally got logged on, it worked ok. Overall, a good value, and highly recommended!

Good location as close to the ferry/le shuttle, so a great stop off after our journey to France. Comfortable room and handy walking distance to restaurants in the old town. Staff friendly and helpful.

Near to the sea, parking place in front of the hotel, important for bikers.

Stayed just the one night here on way back from a few days touring Normandy. Perfect stop for getting to the channel tunnel early the next morning. Clean and tidy the staff very welcoming and friendly. Easy reach of nearby bars and restaurants.

Check in was good, however our key card did not work to open the door, this was easily sorted by receptionist. The hot was unable to offer an evening meal as they were catering for the Gendarme. As the Hotel is rather out of town, we had to walk quite a way to find a hotel that was open.

Hotel Opal'Inn is just across the street from the beach, which allows for a beautiful view directly from your room if you book one with a Sea View. The balcony in our room allowed us to enjoy a quiet drink looking out onto the beach. The rooms are compact but functional, affordable & clean. All the members of staff I dealt with were very friendly. Although we didn't need it, the breakfast option was also available for a great price.
