絶対に5つ星の宿泊施設で、アリソンによってチェックインされ、スムーズかつ迅速に、必要な情報をすべて提供してくれました。部屋は十分な広さで、バスルームは広く、とても清潔で整頓されていて、暖かかったです。外の廊下には、素敵なドリンクや軽食を取り揃えた正直ボックスがあります。朝食は本当に素晴らしかったです。アンドリューは、強風が心配なので今日は出航しても大丈夫だと伝え、フェリーが午後 1 時までに到着しないのでレイトチェックアウトを申し出てくれました。アイラ島を訪れる人には、ボウモア ハウス ベッド アンド ブレックファストを予約することを強くお勧めします。

ツアーグループと一緒にここに宿泊しましたが、部屋と朝食にとても感銘を受けました。しかし、アンドリューとアリソンの全体的なもてなしとフレンドリーさによってさらにそうです。彼らは素敵なホストで、私たちが快適に過ごせるように全力を尽くしてくれました。アリソンは、私たちが無事に開店時間に間に合うように、親切にもボウモアのお店に立ち寄ってくれて、商品を買ってくれました。再びアイラ島を訪れるときは、必ずここに滞在したいと思います。

Andrew and Alison were the most pleasant and generous hosts of this superbly appointed B&B. Our welcome was a briefing of the island by Alison accompanied by a generous dram of Bunnahabhain Stiuireadair. And it only went up from there. Breakfasts were hearty and complete, comparable to the best 5-star hotels we’ve stayed at, but better! Andrew made sure we had a dram of a great Islay whiskey to start our day! The room we had was HUGE! With a full sitting room, overlooking the gorgeous water views, and a massive bathroom ensuite to relax in a warm bath after a long day visiting whiskey distilleries.

Great hosts very welcoming and informative. Room was really comfortable with amazing views. Breakfast was delicious and well cooked with a good choice. Very handy for local restaurants. Would definitely recommend and would stay again if returning to Islay.

We had the pleasure of staying with Andrew and Alison during our Islay 4 day visit. From the first night when we spotted the interesting range of local whisky available to the pre ordered breakfast at our preferred time, we were sold. We were particularly appreciative of the chance to get a load of laundry done. Thank you for the “special” dram to start the day, Andrew- you added to our adventure.

Fabulous accomodation. Our room was fantastic, loads of space, seating area, great views & huge bathroom. Hosts were very welcoming & helpful, with advice and tips about the island. Lovely breakfast.

From welcome to send off Andrew and Alison are there for you, deeply invested in making sure you make the most out of your stay in Islay. Add to that spotless, comfortable rooms and a great breakfast, the Bowmore House is definitely a safe bet for a good experience.

My accommodations at the Bowmore House were arranged via a tour I was on but I wanted to provide a separate review as I was blown away by my stay here! Honestly when I booked my tour and it said we were staying at a B&B I was expecting a stuffy and out of date place that would be nothing more than a place to sleep and move on. What I got was the complete opposite! The room was spacious with views to die for (I turned the arm chair around and enjoyed an early morning coffee taking in the views each morning) and a fantastic bathroom. And the hosts, Andrew and Alison, were amazing and so warm and welcoming. Andrew provided entertainment and jokes in addition to some history of the island and Scotland as a whole. Our tour group lucked out and had amazing weather during our trip which essentially added a beach vacation to my travels but I am sure this place would be amazing regardless of weather.
