Nice swimming pool, large room and cast to TV are the features I liked.

This hotel is lovely. It is situated beside a golf course so the views are magnificent. We had a Highland Queen Twin room upstairs which was huge and absolutely stylish and luxurious. The two queen twin beds were comfortable although I found the doona heavy and hot. The bathroom was huge with a walk-in shower and lots of storage. Only thing there was the toilet was very low on the wall, requiring some thigh strength to stand up. The restaurant was a huge bonus and the food was very nice. Breakfast (extra) included a full service although was perhaps a bit lack lustre, particularly as it was the same for 2 mornings running. The setting of this hotel is a bit out of town but it is really contemporary. We loved it here and will be coming back.

I stayed here for a night to break the drive from southern vic to NSW. The hotel itself was lovely- comfy beds, good check-in. Unfortunately, it was the restaurant which was the let down. We waited 40 minutes after we were seated and still had no service. I attempted to make contact with the waiter twice, and was told “they’ll be back in 2 minutes”. I walked out and drove to a local pub. Unfortunately, the onsite restaurant was the primary reason we booked here, so this was a disappointment.

Property was quite and peaceful, the restaurant staff friendly and food was tasty

We had no air conditioning in our second night. We were offered 2 other rooms 2 hours after reporting the issue but we had booked a twin room as there was three of us and we only offered a king room. Another hour later when we had already sweeten in our room to get ready for a wedding we were offered another room but by this stage it was 20 minutes before we had to leave for the wedding and we did not have time to move rooms in all our wedding attire. The restaurant was a lovely setting and we asked for our table of 4 to be by the window but we are advised that was not possible as they were only tables for two, we thought that was fair enough until we realised we were the only guests in the restaurant, the staff member really was not of the standard we would have expected, carrying bottles of wine under her arm to our table and when friends arrived early to their booking and we were chatting we were even told to take our seats at the table as the chef was cranky and wanted to go home. We were not annoying anyone else as we were the only guests in the restaurant to begin with. We really expected more since the property seemed empty. Maybe this is why.

no day spa, jacuzzi or movie channels...breakfast is very basic...no lactose-free/gluten-free options... not a 4-star hotel, maybe 3 stars...

I found the room, amenities, bar, restaurant and staff were all great. The only very minor negative was that breakfast opened at 7 and servicing started around 7:10am which could ideally be earlier for business travellers with early morning appointments. I'll definitely stay there again.
