Beautiful grounds great old world feel. Great food friendly staff at hickory restaurant. One down side our Pettit room had Loud aircon grinding all night

This was a great stopover, gardens were beautiful. The restaurant was great, service excellent. Had a game on the billiard table. The room was clean, comfy and quiet.

Great location but rooms / bathrooms are small for the price and very dated.

The historical building is charming. As are the extensive and stunning gardens which surround the property. The restaurant service and food were excellent. The rooms in the Morton Wing were dated. They were clean though. The bathroom was tiny. Especially given the price per night. Overall my friends and I had a wonderful weekend in the hotel and out in Bowral.

We've been staying here for over 20yrs but after staying at Dormie House, 20mins further down the road & comparing the 2, this will be our last stay at Craigieburn. A couple of minor things but annoying things. The bathrooms are tiny & the remote for the TV not at all intuitive, with this robotic voice rattling off these numbers. The volume won't go above 14 & we found we could barely hear it, plus we had to go back to 'home' to change the channel, it wouldn't just go from one to the other. Also, there were several bead blow flies in the stairwell from the Friday we arrived, until the Sunday we went home. Finally, they've introduced a $100 pre-payment. They take your money on the day of check-in & then release it several days later. Ultimately there doesn't seem to be any recognition of return customer's or their loyalty, which would surely be as easy as looking up a mobile number & seeing one's history.

Lovely location and reasonably priced accomodation including breakfast. Staff were friendly and lounge areas were cosy with fire places. I would come back again

Historic property with nice gardens. Good restaurant. Comfortable lounge areas with open fires. Small rooms with very small bathroom need upgrading.

Our stay was ok, but unfortunately, we did not get the room we paid for. Plus, the restaurant was a bit overpriced for what we got, and the service was not great. Lovely friendly staff but if a restaurant charges as much as they do, then the staff need to be more attentive and better trained.

Great place. The room we stayed in was perfect. Will book again. Food was fabulous. Bed was super comfortable.Great areas to lounge in around the open fires.
