No hot water in the shower. When I mentioned this to the reception, and asked for a discount, they said it wasn’t their problem

This is absolutely the worse hotel I have stayed in. Everything is just barely sufficient. Bedding is thin, mattress is ancient, wifi only works when no one else is on it - staff told me to figure something else out. The breakfast is disgusting. Cleanliness is borderline. In room phone doesn’t work and rattles. Smoke detector is on the nightstand with battery sticking out. Outlets mostly don’t work. Only slightly better than sleeping in my car.

Very rare to find a hotel in this price range with 2 pool complex that has a steam room. Worth staying just for that. Breakfast needs work very poor selections

Colonel Hotel gets a really good rating from me and my wife the people are really nice ❗️

Overall comfortable stay, no issues. Loved the king size bed. Pool an added bonus. Will consider this place for any future trips. (Breakfast items were very limited so if you're hoping for a full continental you may be disappointed).

Check in took forever,there was two other people who had been waiting for someone to show up at the desk to check in also close to 20minutes standing there.The room was ok getting ready to check out did a check to make sure we had everything and found a spoon under the edge of bed which was burnt on the bottom took it to show the front desk didn’t seem to bother them

If you get a good too as we did, it’s good enough, but even this room had a chemical cleaning smell and white (probably cleaning solutions) stains in the headboard. Pools we’re nice, but falling apart and poorly ventilated, mold on walls.

I arrived after 8pm on a Monday night, I attempted to check out at shortly after 6 am, 10 hours later but despite sharing that I was a traveler, I was charged $124 for that brief time. This is a bit much for a meh of a place, where attempting to check in as well as out, I was told that I had to wait.

We checked in and our rooms were disgusting, stunk of mold and smoke. Dirty curtains. Just gross. homeless on the premise and those acting intoxicated. Then as we went back to the office to get our money refunded there was a lady in there crying hysterically that she wanted her money back and she was just assaulted by the pool guy. I have the encounter on video. The owner was very dismissive and rude to her. That encounter just confirmed our decision to not stay there. So we were told we had to call ******* for a refund and not them. They told us to change rooms but this place was dangerous so changing rooms was not going to stop the problem. Seriously, DO NOT take your family here. Especially woman and kids because the guys loitering the property surely looked questionable. The poor woman who was assaulted left with her husband in a panic and the hotel reluctantly refunded her after she begged hysterically!!! I’m going to call ******* because I need a refund as well! This place is a 00/10 so don’t believe ANY positive reviews on websites because it’s inaccurate. The photos don’t show this well but it’s a dump!
