Saunton's hotel was exactly what I needed with stunning coastal views with its spa treatments, outside pool /room /yoga and restaurant overlooking from a cliff onto quiet Sauntons beach. Helpful and the kindest personnel working at the hotel made the stay even more special with glass of prosecco at the checkin. Kudos to spa for an amazing source facial and swedish massage.

The view is incredible. The staff are all so friendly and helpful. From the cold Prosecco on arrival to the porter helping us with our luggage to the car. This hotel gets it right. A really special and wonderful place to stay.

Hard to find a more impressive hotel and location in the UK and so if you haven’t already been or you are considering it but haven’t committed……..give it a try, you won’t be disappointed. Yes of course there is no guarantee of good weather and it is on a cliff top so it’s sometimes windy and not the Mediterranean but the views the beach and the dining all top notch. The traffic in summer will probably frustrate you but wherever you go in the south west it’s always a challenge…..that’s summer holidays in the UK ! Once you are there whether it’s with kids or just a couple there’s loads to do …spa, indoor and outdoor pool, nearby championship golf, tennis, surfing, the burrows…even a falconary display if you are into nature. We were lucky to have a sea facing room which provides amazing views across Saunton Sands beach and so if you can, try and secure one of these for a memorable visit.

My Husband & I spent three days, two nights, at the Saunton Sands Hotel. We had a double room with a sea view overlooking the bay. The beds & pillows were extremely comfortable, the en-suite bathroom was spotlessly clean & the towels white & fluffy. The staff, without exception, were delightful, professional at all times, nothing appears to be too much trouble. The meals were exceptional as are the thermal spa facilities. (It is wise to book treatments in advance to avoid disappointment).

A family weekend away to celebrate a 60th wedding anniversary and a belated mothers day. The customer service, food and location were outstanding. The glass of fizz on arrival made my party feel like royalty, staff could not have been more helpful. The views and gardens were wonderful and the spa faciality (and pool) were clean, tasteful, well managed and a pleasure to use. So good we've booked to come back!

Very lovely and enjoyable stay. Excellent service, wonderful walks and weather, and great food. We will be back in the future and hopefully have yet another wonderful visit.

visited a surfing event. staff really looked after us. had a great lunch in restaurant Brogan set the tone funny professional and polite. But all the team were stellar. Sian, Mia, Tyler, Kai and Liam. Reception was good also. I will be going back.They were like hospitality ninjas. View of beach stunning. Looked in Spa seemed great also and the reception there top banana aswell

Such a beautiful location, and the hotel has a good spa & gym. Room was tired, musty, rusty and had loads of dead flies over the window sill. Staffing appeared short as service was often overwhelmed.

A beautiful hotel set in an idyllic location overlooking the beach. The view from the jacuzzi is awesome! Our hotel room was fabulous. We had a seaview with a huge balcony.
