What a cracking place this is to stay! So much better than the boring chains of hotels in the city. Loved the fact it was close to the centre, but in the lovely quiet area of Portland Square with its great architecture. There's no carpark on site, but there was plenty of parking on the square itself so that wasn't a problem. Normally I don't sleep well away from home, but the bed was so comfortable, I slept like a log. Loved the quirky artwork and the breakfast was fab too.

Loved this place. Very friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful room with lots of thoughtful touches. Felt like it's been created and managed by people who really care. Much more space than I thought we'd have based on the website description. Great bar too. We will be back!

Beautiful funky hotel. Lovely room, comfy bed, great staff, wonderful food and a great location. Very central to town and yet lovely and quiet. The best place to stay in Bristol, hands down. Thank you Calum and team for looking after us so well. X

We had a lovely night in this beautifully designed hotel. The rooms were more than generously sized and great value for money. We had pre-dinner drinks in the lounge and they were lovely, along with very attentive service. Breakfast in the morning was perfect. It's set in a quiet neighbourhood that is central to everything.

This was the best hotel stay for a long time! We loved the art. The room was gorgeous, the bed was super comfy and the Staff were absolutely lovely. I want to say a particular thank you to Callum who went the extra mile to make our stay special. Also it was 5 mins from Stokes Croft which is my favourite bit of Bristol.

At last, Bristol has a top-notch hotel, and they love dogs. The staff here are really relaxed, helpful and friendly, which makes for a perfect stay. Breakfast, lunch and dinner menus are great. The rooms are fabulous. We have stayed a couple of times now, when visiting our families in Bristol, and it’s now the ONLY place I would want to stay at in Bristol.

WE have stayed at several hotels in Bristol and would rate this the tops. Slightly quirky but well planned . Excellent toiletries, large top quality towels, very comfortable beds and pretty quiet away from the bustle of the busy centre but still within walking distance. Good value for money and very friendly service.

We loved our stay here; the staff are super chilled and friendly, the design is fabulous and it's obvious that a huge amount of thought and care has gone into planning the rooms; comfy beds, air conditioning, a great mini bar and Nespresso machine as well as really decent sized towels, gorgeous Bramley products and a digital radio as well as the TV. Excellent brunch menu and delicious food. There is no car park, but we found a handy good value parking spot nearby using the JustPark app. Favourite hotel in a very long time. Thank you.

Cannot think of a bad word to say about this hotel, we absolutely loved our visit and cannot wait to book again. We stayed for just the one night for my partners birthday in April and we both said it was the best hotel we've ever stayed in. The decor of the whole place is amazing, it's so well put together and feels like a really premium place to stay whilst still feeling so relaxed and homely. The staff were so friendly and chatty. The room was immaculate and there was so much attention to detail with the design. The mini bar was great, so good to be able to get a decent local beer. The bed was super comfy, the coffee machine great...I could go on, but there really was nothing to fault about this place. Would 100% visit again and recommend to anybody else. We wish we had booked more than just the one night! Location wise - a great spot to explore Bristol. Easy walking distance to the city centre.
