Excellent little hotel - my room was quite small but very clean and quiet with everything I needed including quiet air con - which is rare! The staff were very friendly and helped carry my suitcase to my room. Continental breakfast was really nice - more than I could eat! I would definitely recommend the hotel.

Just enjoyed an excellent 4 night stay at the Albert 1 hotel. Lovely light, spacious room (double aspect) with the choice of a bath or shower ( big plus in my book). Breakfast was great and plentiful and the patrons have the " nothing is too much trouble" attitude you would expect in a 5* Mayfair hotel

we had a lovely welcome from Christoph at Hotel Albert 1 and he was very obliging and kind with all pur requests as it was a special occasion for us all during our visit. The breakfast every morning was superb and nothing was too much trouble . We enjoyed our stay very much and would recommend the Hotel Albert 1 to anyone.. Good location to the market square and quick location to train station . Thank you also for the very kind gifts of wine to celebrate our big wedding anniversaries and my birthday.

Bedroom and bathroom all fine, quiet (room to the backside) great breakfast and very friendly service. Through the room door you could hear steps, talking and neighboring doors slamming. Also some of the kitchen odors came through the door in the morning. The beds are fine but they sag a bit which is not so good for stomach sleepers and side sleepers.

Great hotel, located close to the bus/railway station, and walking distance from the centre. Our room was comfy, nice beds. with bath. Breakfast was very good, they even offered vegan/veggie options! So happy! The staff is friendly and helpful. The hotel is very clean and perfect for a weekend getaway. Great value for money. I recommend it!

Upon arrival we were greeted by a friendly man who gave us a discount card to use at attractions around Bruges. The room was 32 and on the 3rd floor. Very clean, good space and new bathroom. Nice touch that the toilet was separate. Comfy bed! The ladies at breakfast were so accommodating and friendly, we felt like we were being looked after so well. I have coeliac disease and they made sure I had 2 yummy gf rolls and pastries each morning. We had ham, cheeses, fruits, yogurts and were offered scrambled or boiled eggs too and unlimited cups of cappuccinos. Absolutely loved our stay here and would love to return one day to see beautiful Bruges again. Thank you!

This was a last minute hotel. If you want to enjoy your vacation don’t stay here. The charge me twice, the hotel is dirty. A pair of socks was under the bed. The carpet smells, the person that manage the hotel is really rude. Bad experience!

The hotel is fantastic! It is situated near the train and bus station. The staff or family who run the hotel are excellent and always make you feel welcome. They are so hospitable that you almost feel like you are at home. My family and I could go to all the places in Bruges without public transportation. I stayed in a triple room with three beds, which was spacious and spotless. We stayed during Christmas, and the rooms were comfortable even with the outside temperature being 4ºC. The breakfast is quite good; you can take the rest of the bread they give you and have a snack during the day.
