ホテル ラ レジャンドゥ(Hotel la Légende)

Hotel bien situé, joli bâtiment en arrière-cour, personnel correct. Par contre, murs en papier, très mauvaise isolation sonore. A peine dormi car entendu tout les bruits des deux voire trois chambres avoisinantes. Et trop cher pour 2*. --- Well-located hotel, lovely backyard building, decent staff. However, paper walls, very poor sound insulation. Barely slept as I heard every sound from the two or even three adjoining rooms. Too expensive for 2*

Going to be as fair as possible since Sophie the hotel manager feels the need to read & respond to all reviews :). The good: The location of this hotel; Manneken-Pis, Palais de Bruxelles, Bruxelles-Centraal train station, and more, are all a short walk away. There's a plethora of restaurants & shops nearby. Never had a bad dining experience in the ones we visited. The staff are all friendly. Always greeted you, checked to see if you needed anything...one gentleman in particular (might've been the owner, not sure) asked us several times if there was anything he could do on our behalf, if our rooms needed cleaning, etc. Service was great. The rooms are spacious, the beds are comfortable. The bad: The hotel has no A/C. I mean absolutely none, no central or window units. I understand A/C is not common in parts of Europe, or that it might be for ecological reasons, but it was 90°F humid weather during our stay. We would sweat even after taking a shower at night, it was that hot. The only relief was an old-fashioned standing fan (it didn't help). We asked about it before checking in, & were not answered until after our booking was non-refundable. The hotel shuts down during the summer...unfortunately, they forget to open the faucets when they reopen. There was air & dirty water in the pipes the first time we used them, which hit me in the face since I wasn't expecting it. The shower has no divider at the bottom, so water leaks out into the rest of the bathroom floor.

출장 여비에 맞추다보니 여기에 방을 잡았는데 캐리아 펼 공간이 없는거는 그렇다 치고 방에서 이상한 냄새가 나요. 무슨 페인트를 칠했는지 아님 니스같은거를 칠했는지 방에서 약품냄새가 나서 냄새땜에 이불 뒤집어쓰고 잤더니 더워서 깨고 냄새나서 깨고를 반복했네요

I would not recommend staying in this hotel

About the building location was fine. The mayor problem was the room, it was not fresh clean. It was dusted, the linens were probably not changed after the pandemic. One of the widows panel was open and it was broken. In the process of checking in I was asked to filled out a police report notification for security. I asked them why, It made me feel very uncomfortable. I asked, why it is necessary. I have never asked in any hotel to filled a police report. An Asian lady whom she said is the manager of the Legende Hotel answered me with a very loud tone of voice and accused me that I am a difficult person. I felt obligated to stayed since I have tried to get in contact with ******* and It was very difficult to get anybody.to solved this issue. the next day the owner of the Hotel that later he Identified to be the owner of the Hotel an Italian man. came to clean the room leaving the room fresh clean without changing the linens. I booked from the night of the 24th till the 27th, which was 4 nights and somehow it was only until the 26th I got a call from reception by the Italian man which he said is the owner of the hotel and asked me to leave his hotel since I was not welcome because of asking so much "you a Peruvian..." which his tone was despective and races. So clear It was Not a four stars Hotel. the receptionist African man was rude and joined his boss asking me to leave the hotel. I was insulted and my entire person offended by a horrible man. I
