Tout correct, tres classique hotel.

Awesome hotel! We were so pleased with everything about it. This is a perfect location and a marvelously friendly yet well-appointed place. They deserve every one of their 5 stars. We enjoyed cocktails at the bar every night, both bartenders were really good and friendly, the room was perfect (and large by European standards especially), and in short, one of the best hotels we’ve ever stayed in.

We had a great stay at the Stanhope. Everything about the hotel felt high end from the moment you arrived. Set in a lovely building, the reception area was very welcoming and the staff upon check in were great, very friendly and personable. In fact, every member of staff we interacted with went out of their way to accommodate your needs. As it was birthday we were given a room upgrade with chocolates in, which was a nice touch. We had a lovely, high ceiling room with big windows, the lounge and bedroom of which was furnished with high end feeling furniture. We had a large bed which was super comfortable. Although not bad by any stretch, the large bathroom did not live up to the same standard as the rest of the room. The location is a little out of the main area of Brussels, more near the European parliament which meant it was quiet of a weekend, but that was no issue for us. A 20 minute walk to the Grand Palace. We did not eat at the hotel so cannot comment on this; there are a few areas for brunch and bakeries within walking distance. We really enjoyed the Stanhope and hope to return some day.

Really gorgeous room with quirky features throughout. Breakfast buffet was great with plenty of other options available to order. Hotel itself was beautiful and full of character. Would recommend. Maybe a 20 min walk to grand place. Was staying for work in the museum district so it was very suitable.

I stayed six nights. The rooms were beautiful, the location was perfect, the lobby decor was lovely, and the staff was fantastic. I wanted to recognize Aline, in particular, at the front desk. She went above and beyond to make me feel cared about and taken care of. I also very much enjoyed speaking to Adham, Josef, Dino, Hermes, and the bartenders (Elias and Josue I believe were their names?). But Aline stood above the rest in terms of kindness, professionalism, and efficiency. I am looking forward to staying again in the coming months and I plan on recommending the hotel to my friends before their next trip to Brussels. Thank you, Stanhope for a wonderful first stay!

Blown away by this hotel! From the moment we arrived we were charmed - the hotel is gorgeous, the staff are helpful friendly and attentive in all areas. We had a lovely room with a welcome gift for our anniversary which was very thoughtful. The breakfast was delicious, we didn’t dine in the evening as the restaurant was closed at the weekend but the reception staff were helpful in recommending places to visit. It’s located near the European Parliament and close to the bus route so we found it a great location. A 20 min walk to the Grand Place but an enjoyable and beautiful walk.

The room was really big, clean, and impressive. On the first night there was a lot of noise from the street, so they moved me to a different room. The service was good. I didn't eat at the restaurant, as it was expensive compares to other options around. It is easy to arrive from the airport, and it is around 20 mins (walking) from the center. There is a nice park near the hotel.

Nice hotel for weekday business but not for weekend visitors. Not only was the area deserted Sat and Sunday the Hotel's restaurant was closed on Sunday night. Most eateries in the area are only open Mon to Friday.
