ホテル パルメラス(Hotel Palmeras)

Literally the worst hotel experience either of us have ever had (we are lifetime world travelers). We booked 2 nights, arrived to a dungeon of a room, asked to move rooms (denied) and then asked for a refund for the second night (denied). We came home to a flood in our room making the airconditioning not usable for the night we were forced to stay there. The owner guaranteed us a full refund in exchange for *not* writing this review. They then ignored both Booking and our requests to do so. STAY LITERALLY ANYWHERE ELSE

There is NO restaurant Walls half painted Rustic is a generous word for this You have to light the stope with a lighter Fridge is small Dirty!! Shower is abysmal There is no upper deck with lounges as shown on the website All day construction noise

For the price of the rooms, I feel they could have been accommodated with comfortable beds. The beds felt like the box spring only. Simple memory foam mattress topper would help. No water available in the rooms made it uncomfortable to go out in the courtyard in your Jammies to fill up your water. Overall the renovations done to the from the building was nice to see, but landscaping has been abandoned for awhile dead palm leaves falling consistently. Dead plants amd leaves.

Location was perfect. Very cute boutique hotel. The pool area had many lounge chairs and I loved it being surrounded by lush plants. We will be back.

Lobby and pool area very nice upgraded and clean. Past that- the rooms are quite outdated, need upgrades (even a coat of paint), need more attention to cleaning. Our bathroom door and walls were grungy. Outside stair cases were not swept or washed. Our private balcony area dirty to the point of making muddy floors when you stepped inside your room. Note to smokers - there is a waiver you must sign that you will not smoke anywhere on the property.

Was a nice little hotel, close to everything, we only spent a night there but will do a whole week next time

A two star pretending to be a 4 star

We stayed for one night and it was a very pleasant hotel. The rooms were nice as was the pool and lobby. It was a good hotel for a good price and close to just about everything. I have only one suggestion, it would be nice if the hotel changed the shower heads for a better low flow with a wider/better spray ... it make the shower experience more enjoyable, and would actually pay for itself over time with water savings ... just a small tip. We enjoyed our stay Thank you

Beautifully reno'd pool area (reception too but that won't impact your stay). Think the room reno must be delayed. A bit tired. Terrible drapes but I travel with an eye mask so no issue for me. While I was a bit skeptical, the bed was uber comfortable. Small roof patio with excellent ocean views sunset. Excellent location. Beach access is a two-minute walk away. The water was warm, clean and tourist-free. Had the space to myself. Great shops closeby like Martha Sanchez (amazing handbags and jewelry - great quality!); Bici Bikes is great for a tour on two-wheels.
