I asked for a quiet room, and they gave me one facing a street with loud music until well after midnight. The Sarmiento street is not so busy but the hotel is located near crossroads and the other street has a lot of loud trafic all throught the night. Additionally, there were several little problems, like safe box not working, the lift being out of order during my whole stay, and bathroom door not closing well. The area is a bit shady, too. I didn't feel afraid but the other are where I stayed later was much nicer. The style of the hotel is beautiful, although some parts of furniture are rather worn. The breakfast was good, especially the fruit salad and nice cakes. They have several guidebooks, which make it easier to plan your programme. I wouldn't stay there another time but it might be a good option for people who don't mind noise.

Excellent located, close to theaters and restaurants as well as the most important historical buldings. The hotel is actually in the 3rd floor of an old building that has been renovated. The elevator is a relic from last century but works fine. The reception staff is very helpful. Our room was clean and comfortable. The included breakfast had bread, ham, cheese, pastries, cereal, fruits, yogurt, coffee, tea, and juice. There is no restaurant on the premises. I happily return to this hotel

Very good choice if you want to be in the centre. Close to Callao metro station and many buses, though BA is a great city to discover on foot. Small, friendly hotel with hard-working staff. Breakfast did not disappoint. Wifi signal intermittent.

I returned to this lovely hotel for three nights in May of this year,2023-I had already stayed there last year.This is a lovely place to stay and is conveniently located in the city centre.The room was quaint and inviting and was serviced daily.Breakfast was excellent with a wide variety of food.I want to pay tribute to the staff-especially Mauro and Augustine.When I made the booking Augustine kindly arranged a pick-up for me at the airport...This is a quaint,romantic hotel in a convenient location and I gladly give it 10 out of 10.....Definitely worth returning to.

The hotel has a unique character. It occupies the 3rd floor of a historical building, with open cage elevator and all. The area is a side street in an area full of theatres and artsy places; also not far from the touristic spots. The staff were super friendly. The rooms are old. It has a certain charm, but I would not recommend it for "neat freaks" that must have a shiny room.

Heel vriendelij, behulpzaam en responsief personeel! Simpel maar lekker ontbijt! Mooie en nette kamer. Ideale uitvalsbasis voor Buenos Aires te verkennen. Klein minpuntje: ´s nachts wat straat lawaai, maar met oordoppen goed op te lossen!
