ンクリンゴ ブウィンディ ゴリラ ロッジ(Nkuringo Bwindi Gorilla Lodge)

Our family of 3 had a really nice time at the Lodge. The rooms and restaurant/ lounge are beautifully decorated - simple with a cool mix of art and vintage items. The staff make the experience - Edward, Gilbert, Kennedy and Vincent stand out as going way above and beyond but everyone was working hard and all so kind. The whole experience felt very personalized and special. The lodge helps with getting gorilla permits and sets you up with a great driver so it’s easy to plan a trip and make it all happen! Thanks to Florence in the office for helping our family have an incredible trip.

Totally unexpected luxury from the minute we arrived. The location is beautiful, the premises are gorgeous. Arrived to fresh hot towels, cold drinks and a hand massage from Rosemary, who would be our housekeeper for our stay. The Lodge is five star all the way - rooms are beautifully appointed and spacious. Staff friendly and work incredibly hard to make your stay with them perfect. Food was great and abundant! Rosemary was there for anything that we needed - dirty laundry, and shoes, magically disappeared from the minute they were set down to reappear later clean and ready to go. Bedtime found a fire burning, hot water bottles in the bed and a sweet note from her. Morning wake up call was Rosemary at our door singing to us with hot tea and cookies. She was always there for anything we needed or wanted, I cannot say enough about the amazing service. This lodge is a gem and if you read its history you will even be more impressed by all that they are doing.

The only negative thing I can say about this place is the drive to get there. The road is barely a road in many places. However...even that wasn't a bad experience because we got to see so much of the Ugandan countryside, and people as we went. I felt a bit like royalty because everyone waves - especially the children. The staff are fabulous! We were greeted by Maggie who explained what we needed to know about the lodge and our stay. We got warm towels, and even hand massages! Maggie also checked in with us periodically during our 2 day stay and she was just very real and friendly. All the staff were. Our butler, George was amazing - always smiling and anticipating what we wanted or needed before we even knew. Unfortunately, I cannot remember the name of our housekeeper - but he was great too! The view from our cabin was spectacular, as was the view from the main lodge. The bed was very comfy and cozy - with a hot water bottle provided for warmth as it does get cool at night up on that mountain. I loved the open shower concept, although being so high up on a mountain the shower temperature liked to play tricks a bit. The lodge and grounds were absolutely beautiful. The food was delicious and much more extravagent that I expected. We were fully immersed in the native cultural experience with visits from the Bwindi Pigmy tribe - which was extraordinary. Loved everything about this place!

Amazing experience - 5 star service with super attentive staff. Food is wonderful and they were accommodating with all of our weird allergies (nightshades / dairy). Views are wonderful, staff really goes above and beyond. Loved the fire in the rooms at night and dining area with 360 degree views. Oh yeah, and gorillas! Hotel arranged all transport and we had the same staff with us the entire trip. Loved it, will bring our kids in the super future. Wesley, Diana and Abdar are the best!

Nkuringo Bwindi Lodge is top notch. We spent 3 nights and did 2 gorilla treks. The lodge is beautiful and caters to your every need. Friday took great care of us from arranging an amazing sundowner experience to making sure our water bottles were filled. The dinners were fantastic! We loved the room with the hot water bottles in the bed, cute bedtime notes and warm fire. Amos can be thanked for our comfort.

We had a wonderful stay at Nkuringo Lodge as part of our honeymoon. Having stayed in other safari lodges before the lodge here has all the luxuries you would expect but with a warm Ugandan welcome. Our butler George and housekeeper Kennedy were friendly and attentive. We always felt well looked after. This visit was a particular treat for us because we were upgraded to a honeymoon suite with truly spectacular views (photos don’t do it justice) and given a free massage. Definitely recommend to anyone visiting Bwindi!

The longest is amazing in every way there is. The room is great, and the staff is so helpgul and kind. We had an amazing stay and want to thank particularly Diana, our housekeeper and Edward. Both of them went above and beyond to make our stay this amazing.

Beautiful colonial style lodge set on the mountain; great sunrise & mountainous view  from the terrace where we had our daily meals. In the evening, we are nicely kept warm with portable 🔥 oven at the restaurant terrace while our lodge fireplace is being light up during turn down service. Isaac was our personal butler for EVERYTHING during our 4D3N stay, taking care of our daily needs (& beyond!), meals & drinks preference and he exceeded every special requests with great care and professionalism. He's super pleasant,  knowledgeable and extremely fun to liase & converse with. Isaac is a true gem for hospitality industry; someone so passionate in creating beautiful memories for guests, engaging and well equipped with barrister as well as sommelier skillset to cater to varying guests' preferences!! We truly enjoyed the sundown experience, sipping our favouritedrinks on top of the hill, watching sunset and locals playing ⚽️ We also noticed the entire service team works and support each other very well; this creates a delightful experience for the guests overall.... thank you Nkuringo lodge team for taking care of us! P/s we found out too late from other guests that there were complimentary 30mins massage daily.... that would have made the stay perfect;)

What an incredible place! The gorilla tracking truly is a once in a lifetime experience and will live with us forever. We were absolutely blown away with the beauty of Uganda and especially the kind people that we met. We had the most amazing time and cannot thank the whole team enough for everything they did. Our waiter, Friday, was the most attentive, friendly and kind man and really made our stay very special. Emily, Amos, Wesley and all the rest of the team were all exceptional. Would highly recommend to all. G&T
