For a hotel that’s just joined Doubletree, I was slightly disappointed by my stay. The reception area and lobby are beautiful, really nice use of plants and a truly welcoming space. Staff member who greeted me was very friendly. I booked a King Superior Room with a sea view, but I fail to see what was superior about it. For a recently renovated hotel, why not provide a coffee machine? It felt like everything is being done on a budget, I was on a solo stay but I was provided 2 pillows and 2 towels for my king room! There’s also a complete lack of any soft furnishings in the room, such as cushions. It’s all very static and unwelcoming. Even the balcony has cheap furnishings on with cheap plastic, uncomfortable chairs. The bathroom doesn’t make sense…. Walk in shower but there isn’t a hook or space to put towels when you get out, so you have to walk wet across the whole bathroom. I got 2 bottles of water in my room with my Hilton Gold, but they weren’t replenished on my 2 night stay. Breakfast was nice, with lots of choice. I ate one evening in Carvv steakhouse, which is part of the hotel. Had a really nice meal here. 400g sirloin, cooked perfectly and really friendly service. On check out there was no enquiry as to how my stay was. How is a new hotel going to iron out problems if they aren’t asking guests?!? There also seems to be a problem with their payment devices. Wouldn’t accept 2 of my cards on check in and same hassle on check out… definitely not my cards, so allow extra time to check in/out. The rooms have an issue with air con and you can’t get it to the desired temperature you want. Mine wouldn’t go below 25 which was unbearable when sunshine was on it late evening. Nice properly but far too many teething problems. Would not recommend and will definitely not return.

This is a new hotel by Hilton in the north of Malta. The Manager Jonathan was great. He was very responsive to my requests. Along with his team, especially Fanni whom with manager Jonathan went out of their way to make my stay pleasant. Fanni is very service and solution oriented and all with a genuine great smile!. I arrived to that hotel on my birthday and there was a surprise gift in my room, which showed that the hotel management and staff care about their clients. Breakfast is amazing as it includes a stand for vegetarians like me. I did dine twice at the steak house restaurant that is inside the restaurant. I used this opportunity to recognize chef Keith, Mohamed, Eva and Chris for the excellent food and service. I was pleasantly surprised by their vegan dish. I will stay at this hotel again and I strongly recommend it.

Fanny ( customer service agent) from the reception embodies professionalism with a warm touch. Her welcoming demeanor and efficient service make every interaction delightful. She effortlessly juggles tasks while ensuring every guest feels valued and attended to. Fanny’s dedication and positivity set a high standard for customer service !!!

Best service I’ve ever gotten in a hotel! Thanks to Fanni, Daisy and Joe (doesyln) they made it extra special and made us all feel comfortable and happy!! I’d 10000% come back, so thank you ladies for everything you’ve done for us during the week!

This Doubletree Hilton has exceeded our expectations. I was worried as this hotel has only just opened after a major refurbishment, but it’s beautiful and truly worth a visit.There are still works being carried out at the beach,but plenty of spaces around the two outdoor swimming pools. We had the best customer service from Alex at reception who went way beyond his duties to find the perfect room for my husband and myself. My husband is blind and required a bath instead of a walk in shower and Alex with the help of Jonathan upgraded us to the best room ever.We can’t thank them enough for making our holiday one to remember forever.

Just back after a much needed break. I spent 5 nights all inclusive with the DTH. I was unsure as I knew before heading that they are midway through a renovation. Please note that until late July (I think) there's no beach club or even beach access or spa. You can use the public beach areas however. I was sad I didn't get to use this because it looks like it will be delightful! Jealous of those who get tp try it. If you book knowing this, then it's a fantastic place to stay. Location - good! Far enough out of the busy areas that it's quiet and close enough that you can visit easily. The hotel is beach front on the main coastal road. Great views from the front (once the cranes are gone, they didn't bother me tbh). Rooms - lovely. All you need and nice balcony. Quiet enough! Food and drinks - by far what made the whole experience for me. The hotel is only part open so I only ate at Ombre restaurant whilst I was there. All the food I had was made to order even on all inclusive and the DESSERTS were just incredible. Lovely wines and cocktails. Can even get an Aperol Spritz in the Juniper bar which I enjoyed. All in all, I think the rates are reasonable at present. It was a nice stay but will be even better once the beach bar is open! But go whilst it's nice and quiet, it's lovely.

Spend a week on Hilton Double tree, everything is perfecte, the place the rooms the clening is exelente. The sttaf is very profesional, very pleasant people , help on every way. Biljana is very profesional,very heplfull and exelent skills.

Lovely hotel,with very friendly, helpful staff. Lorenzo went out of his way during our stay to check if everything was ok, professional, approachable and passionate in his job, a real asset to the hotel. Hotel is a good base with good bus links just a minute walk from the hotel where the buses go to most parts of the island. Will Definitely be booking again for next year.
