インペリアルパレス(Imperial Palace)

A small family owned hotel located close to the UNESCO heritage historical centre, polite and accommodating staff and management. BUT not all rooms may be recommendable. We had to ask for room change because the room first alloted to us had leaky toilets, faucets and was smelly. They offered no in-house dining facilities

The hotel LITERALLY looks as a Casa grade, hacienda Mexicana :) as all the rooms are scattered around. The owner also has a furrier and you can go buy a fur hat or coat. Very nice and big room, good breakfast (decent selection). It's a small restaurant space and guests collide for breakfast. Everything else is spacious and very clean. The street where the hotel is located is messy and secluded. Hotel closes in the morning so you have to ask for the key to get out. P.S. Try to change the room if you get number 111 - room was awkward because it is next to the restaurant and the yard where people sit and talk, so you can't sleep because of the noise.

Un personnel aimable, très serviable et attentionné et aussi à l'écoute des clients. Des chambres jolies, spacieuses et un bon petit déjeuner. Je le recommande vivement!

Das Hotel ist das ehemalige Frauenspital aus zaristischer Zeit. Die Anlage in der Nähe des Zentrums und trotzdem in ruhiger Lage ist sehr ansprechend und und mit einem grosszügigen Innenhof versehen, der von ebenerdigen Gebäuden umgeben ist. Die entsprechenden Fotos auf Tripadvisor zeigen das sehr schön. Allerdings lässt die Zimmereinrichtung zu wünschen übrig: Es ist ein Wasserkocher vorhanden, aber Tee oder Kaffee fehlen. Die Nachttischlampe neben der Eingangstüre und hinter einem Schrank (siehe Foto in der Beilage) ist sinnlos und da es bei den Betten weder eine Lampe noch einen Lichtschalter hat, muss man mit der Taschenlampe zu Bett gehen. Das Gleiche, falls man nachts aufstehen müsste, um ins WC zu gelangen. Der Fön im Bad funktioniert nicht und es fehlt auch eine Klobürste. Das ist nur ein Detail, aber eben doch nachteilig. Das Frühstück-Buffet ist mässig und das Angebot eher bescheiden. Schade, denn die historische Anlage des Hotels ist faszinierend.
