My family has been staying at this hotel ever since I was a child, and it has always been one of our favorite places to stay in Cagayan de Oro. When we originally booked, we reserved two separate rooms, but upon arrival, we found out they also offer a three-bedroom suite that's perfect for large families. The receptionist was very accommodating and helped us switch our reservation so we could all stay together, which we really appreciated.
The location is one of the hotel's biggest strengths. It's right across from Limketkai Center and is also just a short drive from SM CDO Downtown Premier and Ayala Centrio. There's even a nice café called Mimo Café just behind the hotel. Another improvement we noticed is that they have finally expanded their parking area, making it much more convenient for guests.
The downside is that the rooms and facilities are quite dated. The toilet in our room didn't flush properly, and one issue we've consistently noticed over the years is the breakfast restaurant's poor ventilation. After dining, we always end up leaving with our clothes smelling like food. Despite these minor issues, we still enjoy staying here because of the excellent location, spacious accommodations, and the friendly, accommodating staff.
