ザ ベンソン ホテル(The Benson Hotel)

市區不大，去哪都挺方便，步行就能去夜市，海灘，還有個WWS就在附近，不過對於不是那麼愛熱鬧的人，建議週末時段避開這酒店，週五晚上樓下嗨到大半夜，音響震耳外加唱歌跳舞，不到兩三點別想睡覺。

入住四天，三天早上7.30左右電鑽響起，最後一天8.40電鑽響起，提醒你不要睡懶覺

Nice place to stay. Will definitely go again.

I arrived at the property about 1130pm. The room I was booked into the airconditioning wasn’t working. I was then moved into a room that was extremely dusty to which I was told the check in manager would get a cloth. Further investigation then showed the room had undergone rendering and there was plaster everywhere. I was then told that he wasn’t sure he had another room. I was then moved into the room next door. The bedside lamp didn’t work and the toilet seat was sliding off the toilet which made me wonder if anyone cleans it. I then found biscuits and weird flower things under the bed. Didn’t actually get a room till 1.00am that night. When I complained I got offered wine. For a room at 260 dollars a night this was not worth it. I didn’t even have a bed the first night and still had to pay for it. Extremely disappointing. Wouldn’t recommend

Hotel is okay but the aircon is terrible. apparently set on 23c by the hotel. Not ideal for NQ. Be better off sleeping in the corridor as it was cooler. 2 stays in a fortnight as I made 2 bookings for separate dates at the same time. Same problem both stays Won’t be staying again

Close proximity to Cairns Central. Staff very welcoming and professional. Thank you Only negative was that no food except for breakfast available on site which was unexpected in a site of this standard. However we worked around it! Thank you for a lovely stay

Very dissapointing ,had a 3 night stay and would not stay there again ,room was old and badly needs renovating, bathroom was in terrible condition shower head would not stay in position, floor tiles were dirty and some were missing around the door frame. On Saturday evening they had a Wedding in the Bar/ Restaurant area we went in for drink not knowing there was a function on and were told we could have drink even though the place had been booked for someone wedding, we only stayed for one as we felt uncomfortable, the function was on level 3 our room level 9 and the noise from the party was terrible that went on till midnight, then drunken guests were shouting banging on doors untill 4.00am , Bar and restaurant closed on Sunday night,

IT WAS CENTRAL AND CONVENIENT, BUT THE BATHROOM DIDN'T LOOK LIKE WHAT WAS ADVERTISED ON THE WEBSITE (OLDER STYLE WITH A VERY SLIPPERY BATHTUB, PLUS THE AIRCON IS CENTRALLY CONTROLLED AND WAS NOT AS COMFORTABLE AS HOPED - ESPECIALLY WITHOUT THE FACILITY OF HAVING A CEILING OR PEDESTAL FAN.

The room keys worked sometimes, neither worked for parking, this needed to be reset twice. Aircon only goes to 23, way too hot for sleeping. No face washers, only one towel per person. The bathroom ceilings have been dropped significantly and doing hair with the dryer and straightener means you clip the ceiling a lot.
