Nice and clear hotel situated in beautiful place with good service. I prefer better organization in the hotel's restaurant and more various choise for breakfast (missing vegetables) very limited choice for salty breakfast

Nice location, really good beach spot, at walking distance to the village and boat rentals. Great people in the bar and restaurant and the worst food ever… dinners and lunches not well cooked, or with no flavor. Food stations with long lines, food not enough and not being replaced. The only positive note is to the bartenders and people in the restaurant, always looking to please my family stay in this hotel.

Now....if you're into vintage , poor customer service and not very high on updated to the day type of resort this is for you! However if you expect a 4 star type of hotel, as rated, this is far from any star! No internet outside reception area and that of very low quality Food was average, however you can get fed with a lot of sortiments on that level! The room was on the 70's type of vibe ever since was built and you can swear by the fact that no upgrades have been done since. No iron facility and neither a solution when asked what can we do about that?! We had to ask where is the supermarket to actually buy one. The could were there 24/ 7 and you could see that's their working schedule as well! They were doing their best with whatever they could do considering their facilities and training . Mostly young students with little or no experience in customer service.

The quality of the hotel is basic level for the price. Air conditioning stopped working while it was 40C outside. Impossible to sleep. Service is inefficient and arrogant. They are sorry and this is it. Food quality is also not to the level you would expect in Italy for the price.

So many things may be done much better. Ask yourself: Would you spend your holidays with your family like this? I read so many apologies in the reviews, I thought this can't ne true. But, we are here and all its true. One can say, the Beach. Ok, but this is no made by this Place, this was nature. We paid, and now we go outside for breakfast abd dinner. Places outside are excellent. Feel sorry for your stuff, they look unhappy and very stressed. They have to be sorry all the time, be honest, stuff is not leading this place. I think sometimes the stuff even lie to cover you, I know, you need the job. Test for Management: -Sit yourself in the dining room and try to get a clean glas. Adventure -Have breakfast and try to get a Capuccino, machines always broke. And the taste? Have yourself a go -Cook in the front, no one waers a chef's hood. -Chairs, have a seat with your new clothes? Like it? I doubt...

Podla koala tour je vsetko na fotkach v poriadku.They have The worst restaurat i have ever been. Very poor quality. Mass is every where. Dirt is every where.If you have Kids i cant imagine what they will eat there.

Very Good ! Beautiful clear sea! Close to the town and not far from natural beaches. Beautiful pool, cleanliness throughout the resort. Pleasant staff, possibility to use animation programs for the whole family. I recommend!

We have just (sadly) returned from an amazing 10 nights here. I would highly recommend it. We have been to a lot of places but if you like Italy and Italian good and culture, this is a hidden gem. Its also great for families. Antonio, one of the managers is an asset to Club Esse and made our holiday. I used to work in hospitality and so I did raise a couple of things as I noticed him, outside of work hours in the dining hall and walking around the complex to check all was opening up smoothly, but he was so grateful for the feedback and within minutes any little thing, shortage of condiments or a slight queue for something was sorted. he leads his team exceptionally and really understands customer service. We came before the main season fully was up and running, which was reflected in the price we paid, and we knew would be not everything open, but I couldn't have really noticed. We opted for Dinner Bed and breakfast, which was all you would hope for in Italy. At breakfast unlimited fresh pastries, ciabatta, cheese, salami, ham with some gorgeous scrambled eggs, peach and cherry jams, yoghurt, and wow make sure you try and hot chocolate!!! We got local wine and beer at lunch and dinner and it was really nice and lovely that it was from the region we were staying in, ive paid for bottles costing a lot of money that tasted no where near as nice. The days before we arrived there had been substantial rain in the area, luckily for us we had 10 days of uninterrupted hot sunshine! however there was a problem with our room/ plumbing due to the rain, and the management couldn't have been more helpful, they had prepared an upgrade and gave us options of other rooms, in the exclusive area with a private pool! The restaurant had a few glitches as they had just opened and there were some new staff, but nothing, and I mean NOTHING was too much trouble. Every day there was multiple types of fresh pasta - as you would expect, with prawns, salami, salmon, you name it. Risotto Milano, local Sardinian Fregola (small beads of pasta) as well as local typical Sardinian pasta dishes. The only thing I would say is the shorter restaurant manager (I think) who led in the Exclusive restaurant was a little set in his ways it seemed, not unfriendly we had nice chats, but maybe he thought I was just being fussy. I possibly was. But preferred personally the variety of buffet options in the main hall than the table service he offered In exclusive, which I think he thought was odd, but the children wanted more variety. Cala gonne is simply stunning, white beaches and pure clear waters. There is a free private part of the beach just for the Palmasera resort. There are some steps and a sloap so maybe not suitable for people with access issues, maybe in the summer there is a shuttle, we did have to list the buggy, but we enjoyed eating guilt free pasta after the exercise, or you could take the main road by the Pine Bar with a lesser incline. We were a family of four and looking for a beautiful location, which had enough amenities to offer, while also having a tranquil and restful space to enjoy our holiday. The resort gave us this and more! I found all staff to be very helpful and friendly, especially as I made an effort to try and speak Italian! Nothing was ever too much trouble and we received help whenever we needed it. The restaurant staff at Il Borgo were particularly helpful, very kind- even helping us when my husband had a sea urchin injury- thank you so much! The music on the top terrace in the evening was magical and Gio the musician was exceptional! I will miss walking through the beautifully maintained grounds in the morning and walking down the steps to the pebble beach. The vista was exceptional and sun rise not to be missed! The town is lovely- not commercial in the slightest- such a lovely vibe- very authentic. We loved exploring the many seaside restaurants in the early evening. Overall a fabulous holiday and we hope to return one day!
